Woodard Mercantile West in Maize is an absolute gem, and it deserves all 5 stars! It's more than just a store – it's an experience! I am brand new to Wichita and this is a great find! It is advertised as a feed store (and I don't have animals) but was referred there for bird feeders.From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an overwhelming (in the best way possible!) amount of merchandise. There's something for everyone, with a unique selection you won't find anywhere else. It will be my first stop the next time I need a gift for someone.The friendly and helpful staff adds another layer of charm to the experience. They're reminiscent of the "good old days" of customer service.If you're looking for a place to escape the ordinary and experience something truly special, Woodard Mercantile West is a must-visit! You won't be disappointed.

Fun place with a lot of unique items. We wound up refilling our propane tank and got some treats for the dog. Friendly staff. Down home, country feel.

If you have a Traeger, this is the best place in town. They have all the pellets, rubs, sauces, and accessories you could need/want. If you're a Blackstone fan, they are fully stocked there as well. Highly recommend Woodard for the outdoor chefs.

More local feeling farm and yard art store. Feed and care items for animals, birds, pets, horses, etc. Yeti and Brumates selection available. Plenty of yard art to decorate with.

FedEx left a delivery note on my door to pick up at Woodard. I always wanted to check out the store but never got the chance, now was my chance. The store has a lot of cool stuff in it, I even found my dogs favorite food that I couldn't find anywhere. The employees were very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be going back to see what else I can find.I've been going to this store for a year and I never had a bad encounter.

I absolutely love Woodard Mercantile West in Maize, Kansas. I have been shopping here since they opened several years ago. The owners are awesome and very friendly. The employees are wonderful. Maybe my fault staff seemed rude and uninterested in me as a customer until a young lady came to help. I say my fault as I went after work and 10 minutes before they closed, not really knowing much about which mulch grade I needed to purchase. I truly hope it wasn't something else ?
