“After the handed down car I drove through college finally died, I needed to purchase a car on my own. As a first time auto buyer, I was unsure of the process, and pretty worried about navigating the used car market. I ended up buying a 2009 Toyota through Bob Smith Motor Co., and I could not have been happier with the entire experience. “If you’re looking for an honest dealer with good people/ownership, RUN, do not walk to this lot! I found a great deal on a vehicle for my family. As a single mom of 3, a reliable vehicle at a fair price is very important for me. When purchased, my mechanic was booked and unable to do a pre-purchase inspection. All star sent me down the street to a 3rd party mechanic that offered it at no cost. Months later an issue came up that they couldn’t have known about nor did my mechanic post purchase or the 3rd party mechanic at pre purchase inspection find. Burt bent over backwards to find a reasonable solution for me to ensure it will be a good vehicle that will last me a long time. He didn’t have to, but he did.
I’ll be car shopping for my 17 yr old twin sons and my 19 yr old daughter will be replacing her truck soon. Not only will we buy here again for our near future needs, I expect this will be our family’s dealership for years to come.
