I liked the customer service I received from my banker at Main Street Credit Union. Mr. Skaggs personally walked me through each step of the loan application and called another branch to smooth the process for me. The reason I chose Main Street is the service I came to receive recently; a personal touch. When I went to the branch in Lenexa, I overheard another banker talking about saving a customer money and helping her build up her credit. It wasn’t just me, they have that type of culture and commitment.

I met with the branch manager during the holidays when most employees were out of the building. I needed special information to help me do business for an elderly person in my care. I was grateful and very impressed with the expertise, and particularly with the level of concern that was provided. All of my questions and procedural concerns were handled completely, efficiently, expertly, and kindly. It was like doing business George Bailey. Very impressive.

Even though it was the Saturday before Christmas, and there was quite a few patrons, the service was very fast and friendly. I have enjoyed being a member of MainStreet Credit Union for about 13yrs now... My one negative thing I have with MainStreet Credit Union is where they are located in relation to where I live... The 95th street location is about as far from me as the Lamar branch. I know that it is expensive to build infrastructure from scratch but it would be great to have a branch located in the area of Neiman Road and Shawnee Mission Blvd. a little further west, say Quivira and Shawnee Mission or 75th & Quivira... That would be very nice for those who live in Shawnee, Kansas...

My bank card information was breached and fraudulent activity occurred. Immediately called Mainstreet Credit Union, they went into action immediately. They reassured me, told me the protocol and funds have been restored. D.B.

I walked into to Mainstreet Credit Union at the location off Berry road in Kansas City, Mo, the customer service that I received the very moment that I walked in was the most efficient. I'm really honored to now be in good hands as a member with mainstreet Credit Union. Thank you all so much, for being here for me!

Editing to 1 star for the following:1. Their response to my issue of how long it takes to get through to someone on the phone tells you everything you need to know.2. The person they scheduled me with (who missed the first call) isn't even certified to do what I need. I am nowhere closer to getting the signature I need. Massive waste of my time and honestly disrespectful on their part. Clearly communication is an issue all around.Sat on hold for 30 minutes to schedule an appointment to get a Medallion Signature Guarantee. They scheduled a phone call appointment for me later that day to then schedule a time to come in for the signature, except the branch manager didn't call at the scheduled time. So I waited another 45 minutes on hold to talk to someone about it. Branch manager didn't answer his phone but the person I talked to left him a voicemail to call me since he missed the scheduled appointment. Went ahead and scheduled yet another phone call to set up a time to come in for the signature, although I have no faith it will actually happen. All I need is literally someone to stamp a piece of paper so I can transfer my 401K to my new employer. Apparently that's too much to ask for from Mainstreet Credit Union.

Linda from the Lenexa office is the most unprofessional employee I have ever encountered. I Did not know Mainstreet had the most discriminating unedited employees that can say whatever they would like on a recorded line and show their racism through the phone. Will definitely not be doing business with this business going forward! THANKS LINDA!

Not sure what happened to this Credit Union. The Lenexa branch has an old worn out ATM for years. You will have to go into the bank to get cash. Don't even think about using your debit card outside the KC metro. They will decline the transaction. Failure to invest in equipment and fraud security makes Mainstreet a poor choice for anyone needing a functioning Credit Union.

The teller that checked me out was very gracious and courteous, not just to me but to everyone she encountered as she always is. I usually have this kind of experience whenever I visit this branch. Everyone is always so helpful and courteous!!

The employee was very courteous and accurate. My disappointment is the drive Thru at the OP branch is not handicap accessible like both branches in Olathe. Please consider a window Drop-Off in the future. I’m wheelchair bound, so trying to reach the canister was a challenge.

I never have any issues here and have been banking with Mainstreet for my entire life (before they even became Mainstreet). The tellers and staff have always been super friendly, helpful, and never made any errors with my transactions. Definitely a great credit union for simple banking!
