The Lenexa Rec Center is a wonderful and fabulous facility in the heart of Lenexa city center. The facility is huge, compact, and clean with something for everyone. It offers a pool, hot tub, track, basketball, pickle ball, ping pong, slides, and all the workout machines. The staff and folks are helpful, friendly, and really great people. The weight section could be larger and the gym area is not huge, which can make it very crowded and difficult to get a workout. Some wish the gym hours were later. It is worth a visit because it is so nice and cool.
I would give it a 5 if there wasn't a stupid 40 minute wait at the start.

I like this place! However the only thing I can't stand about it is that I wish at least the gym área would close at 10 instead of 9. I work all day and at night sometimes my kids go to bed after 8 and does not give me enough time to work out if it keeps not working for me I'll have to new gym.Everything else is great!

If they invested in a cold plunge and sauna, I would pay whatever price to live here.
