We had a great experience adopting from kitty city! I was looking for a sibling for my cat and we decided on a very sweet girl who had come from a severe hoarding situation. She was very afraid of strangers, but it’s clear she was well cared for by her foster mom and after a lot of time and patience she came out of her shell and we couldn’t be happier!

I love Kitty City! The do such an amazing job helping cats and kittens from all around the area. I just adopted our newest addition over the weekend. My friend has also adopted two cats from them. They take good care of all the babes, and make sure they go to good homes.

We stopped in here to see about available kitties. The volunteers/staff were friendly and helpful. They are a rescue, not a shelter, so ALL their cats are in foster homes. If you want to meet an available cat(s) you need to set an appointment. Nice, clean facility.

Best adoption center in KC area! Cats are fostered in homes during the week and brought in for adoption on the weekends.

**update, they're all grown up and they are the best kitties ever! Added photoWonderful adoption experience!! My little girls loved being able to interact with the kitties we were interested in while in a private cat room setting. We tried three different pairs and my girls became smitten with one of them. We took home two juvenile kitties and have been spoiling them ever since.

All the staff here are incredible! My fiancée and I got an adorable pair of senior kitties here and everyone was super helpful in making it happen. Even months after we adopted them, their foster was more than happy to answer our questions. The staff really care about the cats here and I love how they make sure to give info on things such as why declawing is bad, healthy food options, etc.

We had the pleasure of adopting a young tabby named Benny from this fine establishment today. Process was seamless from start to finish. Application was thorough and I left with a sense that these humans care deeply for animals and who they end up with for their forever homes.My 9 year old now has a new best friend!

This is a great establishment to get a rescue cat or kitten. The adoption process is easy and quick! We love our sweet Hopper! Hopper loves his forever home! Thanks so much Kitty City!!

We've adopted three kitties from Kitty City over the years and they are a wonderful organization to work with. They work closely with shelters with euthanasia policies to rescue kitties that might otherwise be euthanized. They are a foster home-based shelter so their kitties get plenty of socialization and attention and they make the trip to the shelter on the weekends so they can meet potential adopters. I've found Kitty City to be very easy to communicate with and they are deeply passionate about their mission.

Can't say enough good things about this place!! We got our kitties from them 6 years ago. Recently they helped foster some kitties. Della and her group are wonderful people who really care about the kitties!! Wonderful group!!!
