Todd was so helpful and patient as he designed a kitchen that conformed to the specs I wanted. I emphasize PATIENT as many revisions went back and forth. Communication was consistent and top-notch. he was extremely accomodating. I worked with Chad asome too and he was also very helpful. Highly recommend these two designers and KC Kitchens and Baths.

We are so pleased to have found Kitchens and Baths KC. We needed a new kitchen and had bids and designs from multiple other places. Kitchens and Baths KC came in and suggested some brilliant design decisions and ideas that neither we nor any of the other sources were able to come up with. They were professional throughout the process and the installation was flawless. Of course their products were exceptional quality and their prices saved us a lot. It is rare today that one can find a company that does it all well and right, but we can say Kitchens and Baths KC does fit that description!

I was about to buy my cabinets from another store. Boy was I glad I found Kitchens and Baths and Unfinished Furniture. Walking into this shop was the best move I ever made! They were much less expensive for a much nicer quality cabinet than the other store. They offer free designs and measure. They came out to my house measured and brought some color samples to choose from, measured and designed my kitchen happily without begrudging me. Not to mention that we got the quote very quick. And the time it took to get my cabinets was better than the other company. I have had some companies never even send me a quote! Most places want a fee to do all that! Not them! The employees are friendly and they walked me through every step of the kitchen design. They went above and beyond! The design and the cabinets are absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be back when it comes time to do my bathrooms and our lake house!

Happy with the cabinets..BUT, pantry/cabinet was missing shelves. This was never disclosed when ordering, and KB&U wanted an extra $240 for 3 shelves that have included or disclosed. We spent 2300 on a vanity, sink, and pantry already. So i had to find someone else and make them for WAY less. (Under a $100).

Don't let the appearance of this hidden gem fool you! We were shopping around for options for our planned bathroom remodel. We had already been to countless stores and spoke with Onyx dealers and were ready to make our decisions. We weren't entirely satisfied or confident that we would get the products and results we needed. We were driving by the Lenexa location and decided to check it out. Todd greeted us and was able to confirm he could provide a quote. We set up an appointment shortly after and after consulting with him on our wants and needs we were on our way to a bath remodel. Todd's expertise and product knowledge was very impressive. Using a design tool, he mapped what we communicated perfectly to fit. Not only was he able to procure the materials (walk in shower with customized pieces, custom made cabinet and sink) Todd put us in touch with contractors for the install. The contractors were very skilled and organized. They communicated very well so there were no shocks or surprises. The only downside was the wait for the products to all come in. That is normal when working with custom built items, so if you want a quick fix this is not for you.Pricing was better than piecing out from different dealers.We are very happy with our new bathroom.

I LOVE MY NEW KITCHEN AND BATHROOM! Chad & Leslie listened to what I wanted and made my dream come true. My open house was a huge success, I received more compliments on my kitchen & bath cabinets than anything. Thank you Kitchens - Baths & Unfinished Furniture you made a challenging project fun and joyful. Looking forward to the basement remodel. P.S. I need more business cards as I have had a lot more inquiries about my cabinets, I am more than happy to refer KBUF. You Rock!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!! We spent over THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS on our custom kitchen cabinets with this company (KBUF) and feel completely scammed. During the design process, they passed our kitchen plans back and forth between designers, who complained about each other’s work, and changed major details we had spent hours planning with the other designer without us knowing it was changing (like standard to full overlay doors - thank goodness I confirmed at some point and realized it had been changed). Chad continuously talked over me and interrupted me throughout communication with him. I would frequently email him directly, and then he would only contact my fiance in return. It truly began to feel chauvinist since I am a woman. It was so, so, so frustrating trying to stay in the loop, which is where some unresolvable issues came from. He also had an excuse for EVERY issue or communication complaint. We had MANY issues after our cabinets came in and the only thing they would happily resolve were problems in which they could use the cabinet makers as a scapegoat for, since that way they didn’t have to pay for the fix (KBUF are the middle man, they don’t make the cabinets). They just send you out a new cabinet, but you have to deal with the labor and uninstall/reinstall yourself. If the problem was going to come out of their commission, they were absolutely unwilling to take any blame. In fact, they said nobody was to blame. If nobody was to blame, we wouldn’t be having issues. The fact that we had MASSIVE cabinet design issues (including several appliances that didn't even fit in the cabinets, which are now going to be hacked together) upon install shows how undetailed and unorganized their process is. Some of the issues came from the fact that, once again, they had only sent an appliance spec catalog to my partner, not me (the project is in my name!). I sent them the chosen appliance model numbers (that were apparently not in the spec book that I never saw), asked them to let me know if there were concerns, and we moved forward thinking everything was set.I don’t think this company should be in business, but regardless they should ONLY be working with builders who crank out standard kitchens every day. They are the experts who should be leading their customers through the process, not leaving us to catch their mistakes or details that we didn’t even know to look for, and then get blamed for them. This was a massive, personal purchase for us and has been extremely distressing and disappointing. We still don’t have a complete kitchen after 7 months. Save yourself the trouble of being hung out to dry by KBUF and TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

I've only gone in for furniture and the staff are very: friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. When I graduate I will be using them for kitchen design cabinets and more.
