Shopped at the Lenexa location on Black Friday. Everything was half price. Lots of shoppers. The selection of merchandise is amazing. Prices were great. And the staff was extremely friendly. Love this store.

This is a well-organized thrift store. The clothing is organized by style and size. Their prices are reasonable, and they have sales sometimes too. The nice thing about their prices is that they are consistent - like long-sleeved shirts are always $6 I think. Much easier than other stores where the prices vary by piece.

This is such a treasure trove of a thrift store run by some truly delightful people. I've lived around here for close to 30 years and never realized it was right under my nose off Quivira. I found some great vinyl records, some audio equipment, and a couple of bookshelf speakers that they actually TESTED before placing them on a store shelf. That's a fantastically nice consideration and I understand its probably time consuming, but very appreciated when you find something a little dinged up, but very much still in working condition. Both gals I've seen here seem like very nice people, and I'm glad that they gave me fair prices on just about everything. I'll be back after a couple paychecks or just to window shop very soon!

Anytime I have shopped here (4 times,) I’ve never been greeted, or even noticed at all. I’ve seen plenty of conversations among employees as well as conversations with customers and employees. I did notice that in the glass cases they have items for sale that are there from an antique store. That’s cool, but this is a thrift store, so it should reflect thrift store prices.I give this store 1 star because it’s clean and well organized. I’ve never purchased anything during my visits, and I shop for a variety of different items, as well as for various people. But this shop is no longer on my list of places to go. It’s sad because it’s right down the street and I’d love to support a local store. Reading reviews from other customers also stating not being acknowledged makes me cringe.

This is a great thrift store. The staff are nice, the place is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus they have a fantastic loyalty program. There book selection is always rotating and varied. I can always walk out with something worth wild and it is usually under $10.Would highly recommend stopping by.

The store itself is pretty scarce on good finds but when I did find things they were at a super low cost. Went in the other day and they had things marked wayyyyy up! I don't know what's happening with thrift stores but y'all are not antique stores so stop marking the prices up like you are.

If you’re Black or Brown, you aren’t welcome at this thrift store & it’s truly disheartening. I have been to this thrift store on at least four or five occasions. I noticed something from the very first time I attended. However, I thought it might just be me. But after it happened to me each time I shopped there after the first time, I knew it wasn’t a coincidence. And yesterday was no different. The reason I have shopped at this thrift store on for five occasions despite what I learned, is because they really do have some good and unique pieces; however, to my dismay, I am not welcome to shop at the thrift store due to the color of my skin, as Black woman. When I shopped there yesterday I was in the store for well over an hour, like I always am as I like to take my time and cover the whole store. Each time that I have entered the store I am never greeted, and as I have shopped there for hours at a time, no one that works there ever says anything to me. Only frequent glances. Yesterday was no different. As I shopped for over an hour, I watched one of the managers greet several White customers as they both entered the store and as they shopped around the store. Not only that, but he had several pleasant conversations with those White customers. Each time his eyes met mine, he said nothing. That’s when I knew the treatment was intentional & it wasn’t just in my head, and that in fact, every time that I had shopped at the store, the reason I had never received a greeting or polite conversation is because I wasn’t wanted of there. Despite spending well over $100 each time, once I noticed this ill-treatment, I knew that this would be my last visit. At first I was just going to leave however, it really troubled me that I would be treated so poorly, despite being a good customer who had done nothing wrong. After locking eyes with me a final time, I decide to speak to the man who hadn’t offered me a greeting nor a polite word, just stares, as if I didn’t belong there. I calmly and politely asked him was there a reason that I was not worthy of a greeting or a kind conversation. He looked confused and didn’t answer me and that’s when I further explained that I had watched his interactions with several customers who were all White, who received all of his kindness, greetings, & polite conversations, and that he had locked eyes with me several times, and had given me neither. He then responded defensively “it’s not because the color of your skin, I like your hair!” Awkwardly, I told him that, that was neither here nor there, and that I only had his actions to go on. He briefly apologized, but continued to make excuses that did not explain my isolation & mistreatment from or the other employees who had done the same. I could feel myself on the verge of tears for the insult to injury despite bringing all of this to his attention, so I just asked to be rung up so that I could leave. After he told me my total he offered one more insult, he said, “thank you for confronting me,” I responded, “there was nothing confrontational about what I kindly brought to your attention. I educated you about your actions when I didn’t have to and was tolerant of your actions despite the fact that you and your store hasn’t been tolerant of people who look like me.” I then asked for his name, he replied “Mark”, I thanked him and exited the store. At no point did Mark, if that’s his real name, offer to make it right in any way. So again I’d like to inform you to keep your money and shop where you are respected, valued, & truly seen despite the color of your skin because WE are not welcome there.
