I just got a great cut from Lily. My hair was grown out and in bad shape. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she confidently snipped away to give me just what I wanted.

The person that cut my hair cut it uneven. I mean they did what I asked but it wasn't cut very well. And the person was rough on my hair and seemed in a hurry. For what it's worth I still don't recommend.

I called because the 'online wait list' was down. They told me they couldn't put me on the wait list I had to do it online. I told them it wasn't working online. They told me no one was in the store so I should just come. I was there within 6 minutes. The wait list was from no one is waiting to over 75 minutes in the 6 minutes that it took me to drive there after making the call. I do understand that people show up, but what I don't understand why they could not put me on the wait list from the store when I had called in and said I could be there in less than 10 minutes.
Obviously, I didn't wait, and I didn't put myself on the list.
I know that they can add people at the store to the wait list because I've gone into the store before and been put on the wait list. If they had put me on the list and I didn't show up all they had to do was cross me off it just wasn't that difficult to give customer service. But apparently, customer service is NOT their strong suit at this location.

Won’t talk on the talent of the hair dressers, honestly didn’t get much of a chance to find out, just figured people should know how they treat those with disabilities before bringing them their business, especially with plenty of other independently owned great clips nearby that don’t have any obvious examples of ableist behavior

What an absolute nightmare of a haircut experience for my TWO YEAR OLD son who is terrified of getting his haircut already. We went to the Great Clips in Lenexa by Hen House. This exact location: 14904 W 87th Street Lenexa, KS 66215. We walked in and the woman stylist with black hair and was short in her profile, had said she was ready for us to do my son's hair. I do not remember her name for the life of me. But she works at that location. She worked at the time of the appointment around 11:45 / 11:50 AM CT and was working on my sons hair. I told the woman stylist that my son probably won't sit in the chair and she rudely rolled her eyes to the fellow coworker of hers. So great first impression right off the bat. Secondly, my husband is telling her what we want done on my two year old son and she rudely said "let me do my job." My husband was just trying to explain what he wanted done for him as my son is two and cannot speak for himself what kind of freaking haircut he wants. Thirdly, as we were finishing up, my son was getting squirmy, and I had to hold my son a bit tighter so that he would not harm himself and or harm the stylist with scissors in her hand. She told me, the mother, "Do not hold him like that, that is why he doesn't like it, the way you're holding him." My husband said "Hold on a minute, how are you going to tell the mother of her son how to hold their kid." The woman stylist got upset for some reason with my husband telling her that she should not tell the mother of a kid how to hold her son and then said "get out" and made us leave close to the end of the haircut. My son's haircut did not look finished and he had hair all over him. He is TWO and did not know at all what was going on or why we had to leave abruptly. HAVE BETTER MANNERS. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT. THERE IS A THING CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. LEARN IT. Will never ever return to another Great Clips again. I hope this DOES NOT happen to another kid let alone HUMAN BEING AGAIN.
