Had a great experience getting new tires (even with waiting until right before a huge snow storm to go)! Andrew and the rest of the employees I spoke with were extremely helpful and informative throughout the process. The store was very, very busy but they got things done even quicker than they estimated. Would highly recommend!

The service is the best here! Our family would not buy tires from anywhere else! Customer service is amazing and they go above and beyond! Special shout out to Andrew who was wonderful even when it was extremely cold - Andrew was patient, polite, helpful, & knowledgable.

The experience started off good, but ended very bad. I needed tires badly and have always used Discount Tire. I called them up on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to get the tires I wanted ordered and said I could drop my SUV off Friday morning and it would be done by Friday evening. I called them Friday evening after having no communication all day and was told that their distributor only dropped off 3 tires so they could not get it done. I would not have been the least bit upset if I didn’t have to be the one to reach out for communication on this problem. I was told that they would have the tire by morning and should have my car done by noon on Saturday. I received a text saying that my car was finished and ready to be picked up around 11:15 Saturday morning. Since I had no car, I paid for an Uber to get me there to pick it up. When I get there, I stand in line for 30 minutes just waiting to pay and grab my keys. There was only one person in front of me, but the two associates at the counter kept answering phone calls and instead of putting them on a quick hold to get in-person customers taken care of, they spent 15 minutes on each giving quotes. When I finally got to the counter, I was told that the tires have been installed, but they have yet to do an alignment, which was discussed before and during dropping my car off. I mentioned how I got a text message saying it was ready for pickup, only for them to say that someone should have called me. Nobody had called all morning. The associate went to ask how long it would be and came back 15 minutes later just to tell me it would be about 3 hours. There is an impending winter storm and I did not have 3 hours to wait as I was already a day behind schedule due to all of the other problems. I did not ask for any discounts and was not offered any, even though the customer ahead of me in line was randomly offered to have the “disposal fee” waived, even though it seemed like he had zero issues with their service. I took my car as is without the alignment and will never be returning to this location.

All of the gentlemen working at the discount tire in Lenexa, KS are absolutely fantastic. They were kind, educated, and professional. Could not recommend this location more! 100/10 customer service and getting the job done timely!!

Lady at the front desk was rude and didn’t explain anything just assumed I was going to know their tax. Was very blunt and I believe it was because of my skin color because I watched her go over everything when other customers came in. Also I don’t know if it’s a procedure where customers pay before the tire gets put on but I was told to do so I don’t know if she thought I’ll snatch the keys and run off because I’m black but it was ridiculous I seen everyone else pay after service was done. Oh top of that before I put in my card I asked how long was the wait she said an hour, once my card went through she said actually it looks like it’s gonna be 2 hours like huh ???? She better be lucky I was in Kansas and far from home cause I would’ve flipped the whole place and her and showed her how my kind can really get.

I had a Bad Experience with the Discount tire in Independence. These guys made it right. Thomas especially was understanding of the bad job they did at the other location. 5 stars for making me a satisfied customer

Arrived 9:18 for 9:30 tire plug/patch appointment, was “somehow skipped” they said, and didn’t pull out from their lot until 10:50! Hour and 20 min is not what I’m used to with them.
No complaints about the employees, the service provided, or the building. Just needs work on scheduling and keeping people moving. Otherwise what’s the point of the appointment?

Was told it would take an hour. I know that's not always accurate, but my car was ready 90 minutes later, except they forgot to do the alignment. Was told they would let me know when it was ready again, and after another 90 minutes I asked for an ETA and was told my car had been ready for a while. Great! I vastly prefer hanging out in your lobby over anywhere else.
I'm sure the place is fine and I'm the odd slip up. But after buying a full set of tires and an alignment I expected better.

Andrew K. was phenomenal from the moment I arrived. I was approached very professionally and extremely knowledgeable. He’s customer service was exceptional. My mind is at ease to bring my car here and making this my preferred store. Customer service was top notch!

Amazing customer service.Maria Aldaco was very friendly,professional and efficient.she helped me get a new tire,tire rotation and balance.I've been going to discount tire for awhile,but this is my first time going to this location and I thank God He sent me there.from now on this is my go to location.everyone there is so friendly.God bless you all

Made an appointment online for a rotated and balance and was iNew and out pretty quick. Been buying tires here with a union discount for years.

Every associate I’ve talked to at this location has always been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I went to get my tire pressure checked and new wipers for my car and the help and kindness I got from Andrew was top tier! I’ll be coming back for tires for sure.

Customer rep was rude!!!, tire tech plesent, but all valve caps (chrome) were loose and lost one, now have to buy 4 more...not sure if ill be back...experience this time was horrible..
