Amazing staff and service! This is the first Vet my dog hasn't tried to run as soon as we hit the door. He gets excited for his visits with Dr. Hunt! She has helped with an old injury and helps my dog stay feeling young with monthly adjustments. She's amazing.

UPDATE !!! I would not trust them with a stray dog ! After having a false animal control call made on me ! I had to go to court twice & when it was time for trial NO ONE showed up ! They received $200 from me had my home visited by animal control and I missed work multiple times . I have yet to receive an apology! Until then I will write a negative review every day !
I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ! I asked for a partial refund & an apology after being belittled, threatened & verbal abuse in their business. Along with paying $200 instead of the quoted $80 to $100 . Today animal control came to my home as you can see they threatened me with that in photo . I’m very confused as to how you are passionate about brownie & would let a neglectful owner take their pet from your business & wait until after I asked for an apology & refund to call animal control. It seems this business caters to people in their same race category & feels entitled to discriminate. I paid for a service to get my puppy back on track & the doctor should’ve called his previous vet to confirm that she told me 40lbs !

Dr. Hunt is absolutely amazing! I have started taking my 5 month old puppy to her for chiropractic care as she is recovering from a broken leg. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone I know!

My family loves State Line Animal Hospital... from the staff at the front desk, technicians, vet assistants to the veterinary physicians, their service and professionalism is excellent! For many years, Dr. Starr, Dr. Faerber, Dr. Barchman have all taken care of my feline and canine kiddos, and they have always given them the highest quality attention and caring. They don’t make you feel rushed, follow up promptly, and are always accessible. We trust them 100% and highly recommend this practice.

We were looking for a second opinion on our senior dog who had taken a down turn; not eating or walking. We just wanted to be sure there weren’t any options left unturned. A friend referred us to State Line w great reviews for her senior dog. Dr Sam was incredibly kind and thorough in providing us as much information as possible on our dog’s state and needs. We were able to provide him the best quality of life as he said good bye to us the next week. Knowing we’d done all we could brought us so much peace and healing. So very grateful to have someone so caring and to really feel heard in our time of need.

I got great treatment from the first phone call to check out and Lexi, my English Bulldog, was examined throughly and treated gently by both the Veterinarian and the Vet Tech. When speaking with me, the Vet spoke affirmatively to encourage me and clearly to instruct me on how to care for Lexi’s issue. We both left the Clinic feeling better. I recommend State Line Animal Hospital without reservation.

We recently joined Stateline Animal Hospital a couple years ago after realizing Dr. Starr was there. We have been seeing Dr. Starr for 15+ years and the level of compassion, love and honesty is beyond words can describe. He is gentle, kind and really works with our family to determine the right level of care for our Boxers, Labs and Frenchie's. We have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Faerber and she was equally as professional and kind. The staff is wonderful. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a new vet!

I was able to get our cats in quickly to see the Vet for a flea problem. They are not outside cats but we did have a mama raccoon decide that the window well under our deck was a great place for her 5 babies. It took awhile to get them to relocate but it created a flea infestation inside our house. Cats are treated now and we continue to vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. Thank you!

I’m heartbroken to be leaving State Line a negative review after years of using them and recommending them to others. Late last year, I brought my senior Australian Cattle Dog in for a nail trim. I have a history of working in canine behavior at a shelter and have worked to figure out restraint methods that work for her and keep techs and vets safe. When I brought her in, I asked to do her restraint and was given a firm no. They wouldn’t even let me be in the room. Upon completing her nail trim, the tech and I believe a groomer (possibly another tech) came out to talk me. They said she “really didn’t like” getting her nails trimmed. I told them I was aware of that and is why I usually do her restraint. As the groomer/maybe tech was walking away, I heard her mutter “cattle dogs” in a snotty tone. In that moment, I decided that my dogs will NEVER be without my supervision at State Line.
I have since found a new vet who is respectful of my dog and the work I have done with her. She recently had a health scare with a tumor being found on her liver. She had previously had an ultrasound done at State Line that included her liver. I called and asked them to send the information for her ultrasound to the new vet. That didn’t happen. My vet called to request it and, this time, they just emailed me my dog’s vet records…with nothing about the ultrasound. In the notes, however, there was a note about the previously mentioned nail trim. They said that my dog had repeatedly snapped at them and might require a muzzle next time. My dog has NEVER snapped at anyone during a nail trim and I am deeply concerned about how she was treated to lead to that behavior. On top of that, they didn’t bother telling me that she had snapped at them.
They do also allow staff dogs to roam the clinic and my reactive dog had come face-to-face with one on at least one occasion that I know of, which has added stress to an already stressful scenario for her.
I’ve found out that there has been a lot of staff turnover and while I don’t know the exact reason(s), I just can’t trust them with my animals any more. I don’t like speaking badly about vet staff - they go through so much and their mental health needs to be protected - but I can’t not warn people with what I experienced. Dr. Starr is great and I’ll definitely miss him.

My very afraid dog becomes comfortable as she spends time with the employees. Grooming is great, and she loves a massage.

Incredibly grateful to find and see Dr. Starr again! He's by far the best veterinarian I've found in decades! You won't be disappointed. He truly loves animals with an excellent bedside manner for his patients and owners.

After trying 3 months of trying to get help for our golden retriever, our vet referred us to Dr Hunt for chiropractic treatment. Dr Barchman immediately exhaled her, informed us she had 2 torn acl’s that were old injuries and some neurological side effects from previous treatments. Dr Hunt then examined her and did miofacial release and gentle adjustments. The next day our dog was 40% better. Where before our visit, she had pain in her face and could hardly walk ten steps without taking a break, she is now walking and wagging her tail! No one tried to sell us surgery or drugs. They both personally phoned to check on her. I’m so dazzled by these doctors and the care we are receiving. It’s a special hospital because of the people who work there. Thank you!
