Why the staff is mad when I asked him to take out item from my carts? I changed my mind. Also because of that they think they steal stuff so locked the damn cart. Never come back to this place.. everything is overpriced as well!

Cart wheels lock up at store exit. Don't buy more than you can carry in bags.

Would be a five star but I gotta tell you, they are a strong contender for worst bathrooms in Kansas City. Love my check out lady (nicest staff!) has everything I need, clean store otherwise. Consider this constructive feedback back. Have someone clean the restrooms daily at a min! The floor slime is weeks old, god only know what the things in the corners are that slowly morphs into the floors, 50/50 on paper towels and you really don’t want to touch the faucets or soap dispenser (or anything in there). You guys are better than this, rope it in, you’re in leawood! Act like it.

Seriously my favorite Price Chopper in a 15 mile radius. So clean, everyones nice, produce GORGEOUS, usually no long lines, and never out of stock.

The cake for my teen daughter’s birthday turned out awful. Rachel in the bakery had a picture of what we wanted, and it was no where near what we spoke about. She didn’t seem too concerned that she left us cakeless the day of her party since all she did was offer a refund. She said she thought the cake looked nice, well, these pictures should prove my point. I wouldn’t recommend this bakery since the decorator isn’t skilled or professionally spoken. For reference, I had the red bows and cherries to add on at home.

This store has a pretty interesting and varied selection -- it's larger than a lot of the other Price Choppers that I've been to, that's for sure.
Granted, the layout of the store does feel a little mazelike and bizarre in certain places (why is that one freezer placed in the middle of the road?), but it's not terribly difficult to adapt to.

Said that it accepted Apple Pay. Called and double checked and they said they accepted it. I just got paid today and when I went to check out with Apple Pay would not accept it. Kept saying tender unauthorized. Not impressed at all. This store is not very good.

The quality of the meat is poor, and the customer service is lacking as well. None of the employees speak. I visit this location frequently and have tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I think I will just shop at Hy-Vee or Hen House instead.

This store has consistently gone down hill over the past couple years. Shelves are not stocked, expired food still on shelf, deli and bakery hours almost non-existent. Carts are in poor shape and now they started pushing the self check carts-no Thank you”. No salad bar and some of the staff are rude (there are a couple long time cashiers who are great). I have lived in the area over 20 years and shop here a couple times a week. I’ll be taking my business to the Price Chopper in Stanley unless changes are made. It’s a shame as I have always loved this store.

I think the selection is good and
well stocked. However, there is consistently poor service. Never enough cashiers and most of them are very slow. I suspect all of that is to get us to use self checkout aka free labor. Even though this is super close to my house, I'm starting to go other places to avoid the frustration.

I attempted to order 100 chocolate cupcakes over 3 days for national chocolate cake day to no avail. Day 1 (Monday)- I called the store around 430pm was told the bakery is closed. Day 2 (Tuesday)- I called around 10am and spoke to a woman with a thick accent who told me she wasnt the manager and couldn't take my order. I asked for a quote she said only the manager can give prices. I said "how much for 1 cupcake and I'll multiply by 100" she told me the manager will be in first thing tomorrow. I said "what is the lead time for this large order?" The lady said two days at least because I needed the cupcakes for an event that Friday. Day 3 (Wednesday)- I called the store around 830am and was told the bakery manager was in her office and couldn't take the call. I said "I was asked to order from this location, and have been trying to order cupcakes for three days, just let me know if you cant accommodate the order" the lady assured me the manager would call me back. I waited about 15 minutes, called the price chopper on 151st got a quote, placed the order in less than 5 minutes. National chocolate cake day was late January, at the time of this review in mid-February, the bakery manager still has not called back.

Today, January 13th at 8:30 p.m . I went to store #500 in Leawood to return 1 of two meat items I bought still good expiration date. Cooked one of them the meat was very poor quality, 0 chewable and the other item of $6.78 has meat that looks bad was the one I took to customer service to Andrea and she said she couldn't refund, and called Jamal store manager and he said no that I have to speak to the meat department manager and he is only in store until 7. Don't buy meat here it's terrible. So as a customer I ask why do you have customer service open and a managers that can't make decisions or refunds? Sad experience.
