Learned that the company will deflect rather than stand behind their product. Bought a piece of fine jewelry, waited 2+ months for it to arrive from Europe- when I picked it up it came without special instructions so I gave the piece as a gift to my wife with no instructions. Less than 30 days, the stone cracked in half and the ring was ruined. The comment from management was the stone (Topaz over Turquoise) is fragile and the ring shouldn’t be worn everyday. Advice like this we would expect from a jeweler at the time of purchase or at least at delivery, not after product failure. Would’ve still bought the piece, but would’ve insured it had we known.
We’ll obviously spend our future money elsewhere and thought this insight might help others.
