Best vets in KC! Dr. Baker and Kelly are wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough. We have two Shiba Inu’s and I have the utmost in trust Leawood Animal Hospital!

Best Vet ever! Dr Baker is awesome! He has taken excellent care of our two dogs since we came to Leawood seven years ago. His recommendations and treatments are always on target and has kept our boys healthy and happy.

I have been taking my cats to Leawood Animal Hospital under the care of Dr. Baker and Kelly for more than 15 years. Dr. Baker is incredibly knowledgeable and Kelly is the biggest animal lover I have ever met! Highly recommend their services.

I drive by at least five other Veterinary offices to get to Leawood Animal Hospital. I had been taking my dog to a much less compassionate Vet. When my sister told me about Dr. Baker and his staff, I started taking my Dog to see him and I am so glad that I did. Their logo is: "We treat your pets like family" and they truly do. I recently had to put my 12 year old puppy down and they were very compassionate about it. Whenever, I get a new dog, I will definitely bring him or her to see Dr. Baker, Kelly & staff. Thank you for all that you do for our fur babies!

I personally have been taking my pets to Dr. Baker and Kelly for over 13 years. My partners family with their pets for over 20. I would never take my children anywhere else for care.

If I could rate them lower I would. I brought my dog, Teddy to them several times back in September and August to figure out why he stopped eating. After running tests they declared he had an ulcer and it was nothing to worry about after prescribing medication. His condition didn’t improve and I could not get answers after several appointments and tests. I ended up taking him to another vet clinic for a second opinion and they discovered it was never an ulcer but cancer in his colon area that had spread greatly. I requested Teddy’s medical records and X-rays to be sent to the Crest Animal Hospital but Leawood couldn’t find his records. I had to call three times and they couldn’t even email them but had to fax them. Turns out they never did this either. While trying to get them to do so they treated me like I called the wrong clinic and that Teddy was never a patient. After hanging up the first time and calling two more times another individual found his records which conveniently was left at the front desk so someone misplaced them and they knew they messed up.Overall, there was nothing that could have saved my best friend ultimately but the mental anguish they put me through with their terrible attitude and incompetence is unforgivable. I was never rude or anything with them and was polite every step of the way. It’s concerning people can be like this when a pet’s life is at stake.Stay away from this place. I should have and it would have spared my best friend some pain.
