Great store, very friendly. The owner gives people a fair chance at hard-to-get bourbon. I would highly recommend!

I like the gourmet wines and the IPAs here. They always have great Rye and Bourbon. It's right next to Price Chopper so it's convenient. It's a great little Leawood Gem and Mark the owner does a great job keeping the best "top shelf" in stock.

Nice small local liquor store. Convenient to Price Chopper to pick up a bottle of wine with ingredients or restock the liquor cabinet. Decent wine selection for the footprint. A variety of US, European and South of the Equator to pair with whatever.

This is a wonderful shop. They have a very good of wine. Both the staff and signage are helpful when navigating all the wines. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of wines available for under $12. There were so many sav blancs in my price range and with high rating tags, the owner helped guide me to narrow down the choices. We really liked every wine we took home.

I'd like to take a moment and extend my thanks to the lovely, thin, older brown-haired woman for putting me in my place and bringing art and purpose to Johnson County. After running in to Price Chopper for last minute Thanksgiving groceries, I stopped in to your store for lemon drop Martini ingredients. Your candor and effortless, condescending tone, so artfully displayed might I add, had me feeling so special for even gracing your presence. I consider myself an ordinary, forgettable customer, so to have surprised you so much by disclosing that, no, I was not aware that you did not sell lemons, truly made me feel special. I can't decide which part of our shared moments were most memorable. There were the separate 2-3 times you rolled your eyes at me for not knowing that Kansas liquor stores don't sell non-alcoholic items. Then that tone you got when I stated I live on the Missouri side. Then there was the up-and-down glance explaining that it's not a far walk back around the corner to Price Chopper. You were so helpful to emphasize for me not to worry, it's just right within the door. Lastly there was your inpatience and disgust confirming that your store doesn't carry simple syrup, which was a nice way to round out the experience, until you dismissed the conversation by walking away muttering that you would always make it from scratch.
To you, unnamed woman, I am truly sorry that you are so unhappy to be standing on that fancy glazed concrete floor with a cashier login memorized in your head while your fellow non-working Johnson County girlfriends Range-Rove around town in their form-fitting mom jeans wishing their 24 year old son's friends would notice them. But it's important to have purpose though, you see, and your purpose may be to make condescension and snobbery an art form. It's important to contribute to your community, just like it's important to shop local. So because you inspired me, I took my uneducated-on-Kansas-drinking-law, simple-syrup-buying-not-making, Missouri plate driving, RealLemon-juice-buying self back up across the state line to my neighborhood liquor store that sports stained t-shirts and an array of Christmas scratch offs, and went home a happy customer, complete with two dog biscuits for my two mutts which I bought from a jar next to the scratch offs.
