Yikes. This place is way overpriced. I stopped in to just get a dozen roses. They told me it would be $130. Just for the flowers. This is highway robbery. I immediately walked out as I can’t justify paying this inflated price just because they are in Leawood. I went to Hen House grocery store down the street and got a fully arranged dozen for $35. The ladies did a great job arranging it. Unless you have money to burn I wouldn’t stop in here for flowers.

Cannot recommend flowers by Emily enough! They helped my floral visions for my wedding this October come to life. The flowers turned out beautiful and I couldn’t have been happier!! The arch was so pretty and exactly what we had discussed. They were great to work with and very responsive!

Ordered my wedding bouquet from Flowers by Emily and at first I wasn’t so thrilled with it. I wanted more pinks in it and more bright colors. After calling them and asking if there was anything that could be done they fixed it and were very sweet about it. They didn’t make me feel like I was being “that person” because I never want to be that. Anyways when my bouquet got picked up for the second time I was so surprised and in love with it. It was exactly what I wanted and I received so many compliments on it. I love it, I wish I could keep it forever. They went above and beyond on a crunch time to make me love my bouquet.

I ordered a corsage with a green ribbon and white flowers, however, upon pickup they gave me a white ribbon with white flowers. It was not what I ordered and they expected me to pay $60 dollars because it was already made. I obviously am not going to pay for something I didn’t order and they tried to make me pay for it and I was being nice explaining how it’s not at all what I wanted and for that price absolutely not (they also kicked me out when I was being civil). I ended up making my own an hour before the dance for a 1/4 of the price! Don’t go to them for corsages they don’t value their customers, discriminate, and to try to take advantage of kids on their rare life time events to get money out of them. 0/10 check out the one I made instead:)
Edit: I understand the frustration, however I am aware of the rarity of green flowers which I wasn’t even expecting. However, the problem was the assistance I received was the thing that was unpleasant. Your two members were not offering support; more like making me feel guilty and pressured into something I didn’t want. I know how stressful this work can be but the energy in there did was not good for anybody at that time especially to unsuspecting customers. I do however, wish you guys the best so that this company can improve.

This is my first time here and the business has been around for well over a decade. When I had called this location to inquire about the availability for Mimosa flowers (Acacia Dealbata), I was greeted positively and was informed they would check. It seems they can order the flowers next day and have it ready by noon! I was excited and happy. I arrived a few minutes early the following day and they had my flowers beautifully wrapped and ready to go! Thank-you so much because my partner will be so happy to receive these. I will be returning for more!

I am only giving this two stars because it did arrive on time and with the note included. For someone who nearly always has fresh floral arrangements in her home, I have to say I was largely disappointed in this arrangement that was sent as a gift to my mother. In my opinion, it is far from professional or "designer" in terms of design, selection of florals and planned color scheme. The local grocery stores have better options. :( super bummer!

Flowers by Emily has become my go-to florist in Kansas City. I live out of state and like to send flowers to my mother and sister back home a few times a year. I gave Flowers by Emily a try after a less-than-great experience at another local florist. They knocked it out of the park! I've now ordered a variety of bouquets and seasonal items from them. They always deliver on time and follow delivery instructions and the flowers are stunning, unique, and fresh. Thank you for helping me show my love from afar!

I placed a delivery order for flowers and added on cookies and chocolates. It was a complicated order but they were patient, answered all my questions, and were extremely accommodating. I heard nothing but beyond amazing things about the flowers, cookies, and chocolates.100% amazing florists partnered with the best bakery and chocolatier.Absolutely will be using them again.P.S.I did everything through the phone/online. Extremely convenient!

Flowers By Emily was the absolute best! I sent over Pinterest inspo and she delivered above and beyond my expectations. Emily did our arch florals, my bouquet and the grooms boutonnière.
Deliver was on time, installation of the arch went well and it all looked beautifully cohesive and brought everything together. I highly recommend her!!
