What a terrible experience. Driveway for parking is 3 blocks away behind a totally different business and isn’t marked. Valet in front is for a different business and was super rude. Only way to get from your car to the building is to drag your suitcase down 2 blocks of cobblestone sidewalk past just an absolutely TERRIBLE location for a hotel. And then to top it off, the room is absolutely tiny.
Awful, awful location. Wish I could give them -5 stars. Tired from driving all day and now I’m just upset at how stupid a place this for a hotel.

We have stayed at many ALofts before. This one was the least up kept. It felt like it was dirty, not taken care of. The front desk man checking in was very nice and helpful. The ladies checking us out were grumpy and said only a few words. We won't be staying here again.

The rooms have been nicer the last couple of times I've been there. Seems like they have done some work to change beds and plumbing fixtures.

Walkability: Great nearby restaurants to try.

I’m giving this 1 star because the hotel rents out the balcony to private parties, live band included, and allows them to play until 10:30. As expensive as these rooms are you would think Marriott wouldn’t need to take on side hustles, but clearly not.
I think this would be a fine hotel if staying on a weeknight (location is great and free parking is convenient), but as I’m currently listening to Guns & Roses against my will when I just want to go to bed, I highly discourage booking for a weekend night. (Also, the AC is terrible, so you will be hot and annoyed.)

Stayed at the Aloft Overland Park/Leawood on business trip. It was a very nice stay. I stayed on the 5th floor and the outside sounds are very very reduced. Most of the time you hear silence unless someone with an especially loud car pulls through on Nall Street. The little area around out though, is a gem. They had a Saturday night concert that was a boat and is a very very loud friendly vibe. Everyone was super nice in the area, and the staff was a hoot to chat with.
Rooms: Rooms are nicely appointed. Not 5 star fancy, but more a modern chill vibe. They have a little couch in the room which I really appreciated.
Walkability: There is so much in the surrounding area to walk to and do or eat. It's a very clean area, and is very chill and usually filled with families.

Clean, nice rooms with excellent service! Parking is not attached to the hotel but just a short walk from the parking garage. It's definitely not a deal breaker, though.

Disappointing! Because of the nice location and Lobby you would be fooled to think this is an upscale hotel. It’s not. The room was very poorly maintained. The shower design causes flooding in the room. The front desk staff was barely helpful and just apologized for the poor room condition. Wallpaper was peeling, furniture is de-laminating, lights don’t work, window dressings don’t work. I’d highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. We won’t stay there again.

Greedy, senseless, spineless management allowed a large group to rent out their balcony for a party and dj past 10:30 at night. Thankfully a large storm rolled in at 11:00 that shut them down. A warning would have been nice so we could have made different arrangements for our baby to sleep. This hotel is probably fine if your 21 and looking for a party and to not be held accountable to any guest standards. I understand they are a business and venue money is important, but people rent hotel rooms to sleep.
