I love SW paint, but since we're not close to Lowes, I went to the SW store. My first trip in January was met with a bit of an aggressive welcome when I walked into the door. When I stated I was looking at samples, he let me be. However, when I returned on Friday, March 22, I was once again greated by an even more aggressive employee. As I passed through the doors, he asked what he could help with. When I stated that I was grabbing a sample to compare, he told me to just come up to the register so he could find it in the system. To which I said, I'd like to find the color on the wall to be certain I still liked it. When I got up to the counter, he asked what I wanted and I said a gallon (in my 1st color) in eggshell finish. NOTE: I've been painting the interior of houses for over 12 years. I know exactly what I want and like. Brendan then proceeded to tell me that it was satin that I wanted. I stood my ground and said no, I dislike how shiny satin looks and that I prefered eggshell. He was extremely rude through the remainder of my transaction. He then proceeded to tell me that he could not mix the color I had chosen off the wall in eggshell. Like, what?? I've never heard of that in my life. Will not be returning to this store. I'll rather drive 45 minutes to Lowe's.

Excellent experience. Emily was so knowledgeable that I’m not sure I could have done it without her. I remodeled an entire house, and she helped me tremendously by patiently listening and helping with all of my painting needs. Most importantly, I get compliments all the time from visitors to my home regarding the colors and quality of the paint (walls, cabinets, trim, doors, etc). Thank you, Emily. Thank you a thousand times!! You gave me the BEST advice and made all of our decisions so easy! My home is a beautiful showpiece, and I can’t recommend Emily and Sherwin Williams enough!
