Dr Seymour and his nurse are a joke. I tried establishing care local to me, went to my appointment and all went well...but that was the end of it. They didn't send in my prescriptions, I had to call a week later to check and there was no record in my chart that he was supposed to do that. Then sent in a prior auth for a medicine I already take for one thing (told him it helped with what I felt were my symptoms of another approved diagnosis for the same medication) and put it as I was taking it for another. Insurance then denied the medication and the drs office said they can't send it in with the original diagnosis because Dr Seymour didn't diagnose it. I told her that he didn't diagnose me with ANYTHING to begin with. Worst excuse for a dr...and I'm in healthcare myself!

Knowingly Withholds key information from his patients that puts them in harms way. Dr. And the staff demonstrated a lack of care for patients. Find another doctor.

I am in the middle of a terrible experience. I was prescribed a strong antibiotic because two others did not kill my stubborn UTI. Dr. Seymour told me the antibiotic was “a great drug”. He gave me no warnings on side effects. I, of course, read the information on the side effects as I am an advocate of my own health. I did experience the side effects mentioned in the information from the pharmacy (popping in joints, Achilles tendon pain, possible rupture) and called and left a message with the doctor’s assistant. It has been 5 days and I have not heard back from the doctor or his assistant. I was also supposed to receive results on my urinalysis and have not. This saddens me.

The ONLY REASON this provider is getting 5 starts is so this review gets to the top of the list. Galen Seymour and his office assistant are horrible about doing what they say they will do and then you have to call and argue with them to get what you need. EXAMPLE - At an office visit he told me that he would send out my scripts and send out the referrals to different doctors that is needed as I'm a very sick person physically. The scripts were not sent out and my wife had to call multiple times and argue with them for a week and a half to two weeks at a time each visit referrals were never sent out all I got was the runaround before he finally said I cannot do what needs to be done but I'll keep you as a patient. This has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I have had an appointment with him. My wife has had to call and talk to the office manager about these issues MULTIPLE TIMES. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR if you need anything more than a flu shot. If I could give negative stars I would.
