We live on Massachusetts Street and wanted help getting our apartment set up. The initial visit rearranged our existing floor plan and art work. This was a huge improvement. We added a few pieces and it was installed and set up perfectly. All of the work was completed promptly and cheerfully. Absolutely 5 stars!!!

I live in central Kansas and was looking for a special decor present to suprise my daughter for her 30th birthday as they spent the weekend in Lawrence for a KU basketball game. Found the Winfield House on a google search and was extremely pleased with how cordial they were on the phone in helping me find the perfect decor piece . My daughter was thrilled with it and the item was excellent quality! I was very impressed with the store and their employees!!!!

I was so excited to check out Winfield House after reading an article in Lifestyle magazine. Unfortunately, during my time in the store, I was never greeted. I saw at least 4 employees and not one gave me the time of day. I had items in hand to purchase but after walking around and getting no help, I put the items down and left. I will say, it was my day off so I was in a sweatshirt…not sure if they assumed I couldn’t afford to buy the items or what. I frequently purchase home decor for myself and clients and sadly, I will not be shopping here. It’s unfortunate because they have lovely items but they need to work on customer service and treating customers with more respect.

Bad customer service: The employees were rude and snobbish to us. They dared to ask "Are you two just fooling around?" when in fact, I was looking around for furniture to purchase. We scurried out of there quickly and looked elsewhere.

The employees do not wear masks. Do not require customers to wear masks, and ask customers to leave when they request employees to put on masks. Why would someone shop at a place that places no value on human life?

My wife and I discovered Winfield House about 2006 while our son was attending the University of Kansas. We live in Kansas City, Missouri but gladly drive the 50 minutes past the big box furniture store on I- 70 to shop at Winfield House in Lawrence. We have made several purchases, big and small, during the 100 plus visits over the last 15 years. We have always been greeted with warm friendly service. They have obviously earned out trust!

Poorest customer service I have ever experienced and snobby on top of that. Waited three months to get furniture and mechanism on couch broke by day two. Grudgingly they “fixed” it only to have it break again four months later. Shop local owner told us he couldn’t help us but would give us the manufacturers phone number. I lament ever walking into this “business”.

I love Winfield House! This is a little jewel in Lawrence and the team is so accommodating and helpful. They carry a special candle that my daughter loves. I wanted to get some for her birthday and luckily they had them in stock. I live in the Kansas City area and wasn’t going to be able to pick them up before her birthday. Sammy offered to bring them to Kansas City so I would have them in time for her birthday. My daughter was thrilled and I was thrilled with the high level of service they offer. This store gets ????? from me! Thank you!!

This place was deceptive in it's practice of selling consumer goods. Started off with picking fabric for special order furniture. After going through samples, we finally found the combination that we wanted only to find out the next day and after we paid that the fabric we wanted they couldn't get. When we seen the delivery date I told them never mind because it was going to take longer than I wanted to wait. They sales rep said it never takes that long and that we would have our stuff by the end of June or early July. July 21st and our furniture is at the store and ready for delivery. I'm thinking great, it's here. So I schedule delivery only to find out that it is $140 for delivery. We purchased several items on the same day totaling more than $6K and with free delivery. Some of the items were in the store and they could deliver them soon but the couch and chair were special orders and wouldn't be delivered until they came in. So we did just that. Today I was told that sense we had a delivery of the items that were in stock I used my "free" delivery. Nobody at any time mentioned that all items would need to be delivered at the same time. At one point, when the material debacle was going on, the man working there told my wife it was because we purchased there low end line of furniture. $6 Grand and they dare to say it was low end. I caution anyone doing business here. There are plenty of places that carry nice furniture and will treat you like a valued patron. We gave this store multiple chances to treat us right and they did not. We just thought it would be nice to do business with a smaller locally owned business. Big mistake.

I love absolutely love this store! My house is filled with Winfield house decor and it seems like every time I go I find something new I have to have! Sammy, one of the designers, recently helped me pick out a perfect pair of nightstands to go in our room. She was very friendly and knowledgeable on the items that would work in our space. They turned out FANTASTIC. Also, don’t even get me started on the candles they have. I leave with 4 or 5 every time I’m there. I give this place 5 stars!

Winfield House is a gem....love the team and the high quality products they care. I needed a special candle for my daughter’s birthday and called them. Luckily they had the sage and citrus in stock.
