The best Medical center ever. All of the nurses are amazing, and efficient at what they do. I’ve gone to Dr.Bruner for years and he never fails and always tells you how it is! With them having a lab in the same building it makes it easy to get everything done in one visit. My favorite part of Watkins are the workers at the Pharmacy. They treat me like family, and always get my medication out in good time. Also recommend asking them about their riddles.

Watkins is a wonderful place all around--great people, great (and much needed) services. But rather than review Watkins health services, this review is instead intended to reveal a little known secret about Watkins--deep within its cavernous space (in the pharmacy to be exact) is the best coffee experience at KU. Yes, the BEST. Get the Prairie Fire cappuccino, dispensed not by hand but from an almost state-of-the-art machine. Enjoy the fact that unlike the rampantly overpriced coffee up the hill, your 20 oz cup of joy, sugar, and caffeine only cost $1.59. Engage in banter with the wonderful pharmacy staff (in all seriousness, they are wonderful, as has been proven every time I have visited with actual pharmaceutical needs). Then walk up the hill. If you do it right (i.e. if you sip as you go), your heart will be pounding from both hill and caffeine and your face flushed. In other words, you will be ready for a day of study and research. Do it. :-)

I've been at KU for the past 7 years I have to say that the doctors, staff, pharmacy at Watkins has been some of the most helpful medical professionals I have encountered. Dr Saripalli is an excellent physician that cares for her patients. Tammie at the pharmacy is always very helpful! Thank you!
