We found the game of Life, and our grandson was thrilled. He wanted to play it often.

I wish Walmart would open till midnight again, it would be the most useful for people who work later nights. I don't know why they changed it but find it kind of ridiculous.

March 2021 by Raina M.
I have always had many issues with Walmart through the years, but somehow those issues never caused me to totally walk away until 2019. Today is march 21, 2021, so I have not been to Walmart in over a year and against my better judgment I decided to go in and see if things had improved with Walmart since the pandemic. I guess I should've known that I was setting myself up for a big failure. The only thing that truly changed about Walmart is there prices went up instead of down, and I think this clearly has to do with the fact that they were the main store that people depended on during the pandemic and in someway that has blown their heads up so big that their prices are just way ridiculously high. A lot of items were not shelved, I purchased a few things but not nearly what I had planned on basically because what I wanted was either not there at all or to high to buy. Most of the things that I saw that were high priced I can go to their competitor and get and let's not forget Amazon has been the main go to for everyone during the pandemic and it looks like I'm just gonna have to stick with Amazon. Today was my first day venturing into Walmart after a year and a half hiatus, and this will be my last and final trek in Walmart. Fair well Walmart...the divorce is final... I am done with you.

November 2020 by Jasmine A.
Applied, didn't hear back for a week regardless of calling every day like twice a day. Then I was scheduled for orientation, asked if I could still go because I missed the call. She said I could still go and the position was still mine to take. I called and asked if I was on the list, they told me no. I kept calling and calling, no one answered. One of the other employees did try to help me but also told me how the hiring managers can be hard to reach, so many people often stop trying. I called on Thursday and Friday again, I was able to FINALLY reach Sherry again. Then she said "yes, you can come sunday at 9 and we'll have everything ready". I call Saturday to make sure im scheduled and she lied to me, she said I was able to go. I call in the morning at 8 to make sure, then a man answered. I tell him everything and he tells me "I'm sorry. Let me go look." Then he comes back and says "Hi, Jasmine? Well it looks like someone filled your spot(?)." I hung up and told him "thanks.". So I wasted my time and was lied to by the lady named Sherry.I'm upset with the fact that we're in a pandemic and they would lie to people. Giving people high hopes and then find out they're not on the list, saying they gave the position to someone else. That's really trashy to do to someone. Especially since we're dealing with the Corona Virus. It seems as though the hiring managers aren't organized. They need to work on that and then maybe they would be able to fill positions as needed. It's a good place to shop, the store is clean and bathrooms are ALWAYS in great condition. I just wouldn't have high hopes when applying to work there.
