“I love it here! I started attending open gyms here in August and instantly felt at home! The space is great, very open and has clean facilities. Students work hard and learn well. Despite not taking classes, I know to expect Randy's friendly face and chitchat when I walk in the door and waves from all over when I enter the gym.”

“Cider Gallery was the perfect place for our wedding. They were easy to work with, quick and transparent with all communications and costs, and had several accommodations that made our wedding exactly what we wanted. The space is beautiful and the staff is willing to answer any of your questions! They also have amenities available to rent so that everyone can have entertainment during your event, including kids! Couldn’t recommend more.”

“I've been to several events catered and hosted by Maceli's, all of them for company events. And every time the entire experience is way over expectations. I've been to both their venues - New Hampshire St. several times and recently, Arterra on Quail Creek Dr. And it was this last experience that was so exquisite I had to write it up.Everything from the tablecloths to the service staff was perfection. And I'd have pictures to share, but unfortunately I was too busy stuffing my gob and didn't think about it. An empty plate isn't very interesting.I have to say the meal I enjoyed was higher quality than most expensive meals I've been out of pocket for. I'm not a salmon fan usually but theirs was the best I have had. Garlic beef brisket was better than I could have made myself. Super tender and tasty. And smoked gouda mashed potatoes had me asking the staff questions about the recipe. Please open a restaurant. I'll drive all the way from KC to eat there. Might have to try curbside Wednesdays until then.”

“It was my first time going and it was a very fun time. There was two girls(Tori, and Cash) that explained everything to me. My only piece of advice is to bring enough cash(atm $9 fee) and drinks with you. Also double songs for lap dances before 10. I highly recommend everybody to go there at some point.”

“Love this little treasure! This is a great way to spend a couple hours. They have a range of sculptures you can choose from kept together by price so you know what you are getting yourself into. Wonderful areas to sit and hang out with your friends or family. It's a fantastic option for one or multiple people. Birthday parties. Dates.I took my children (11 & 9) and we were there for over an hour just having fun talking with each other and painting. Getting ideas off of one another. Definitely Spurs creativity and joy.Once you are finished with your piece, they keep it and fire it for you, then you are able to pick it up in about a week or so.They also have some fun knickknacks you can purchase such as magnets by the front desk.Appointments are not required, but I highly recommend you do so just to save your spot as it can get rather busy at times.”

“Wonderful dining experience! Lovely venue with friendly, efficient staff - we enjoyed watching Emma creating her culinary delights at her kitchen window. We tried many different dishes to share. The Halloumi Caprese (new) might have been our favorite, followed by Fancy Mushroom Hummus, beets, falafel, leeks... we enjoyed all of these and more, including the Mezze Platter, which was a perfect sampler. SO many fresh scents, flavors, textures, and tastes! We also had several cocktails and can recommend the Elderberry Toddy, Sage Advice, Margarita, and Apple Picker. Of the three desserts, we really liked the Yogurt Mousse with Strawberries and the Nutella Crostata, but the Brown Butter Cake seemed a bit dry in comparison. We look forward to coming back for special occasions!Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian selections!Dietary restrictions: Vegan items are clearly marked.Parking: Not a lot of parking is available right at the restaurant but street parking was also available.Kid-friendliness: This would not be my first choice for taking children, but if they have an adventuresome palette, it could be quite fun.”

“We just held our belated wedding reception there and it was so great! Very good value for the money, and the owners were great at communicating with us. This place is awesome and looked amazing!”

“Our experience at Arterra was exceptional from start to finish. Even before we locked in Arterra as our official venue, we felt valued as potential clients, as Arterra stayed responsive and worked with us on what our wedding day could be like with them. Our coordinators responded quickly every time, and we had lots of opportunities to plan things out in-person and in-detail with them. And when we inevitably thought of additional questions or ideas, they were always flexible and receptive. On the wedding day, staff was on the ground and always available, and we were super thankful to have a day-of event coordinator! There were a couple setup hiccups, but staff pivoted and fixed things immediately for us. The decor and setup was beautiful, with lots of attention to detail (for example, Arterra was so deliberate in lining up ceremony chairs outside by measuring where each row would be placed). We also used Maceli's (Arterra's owner) for catering, and the food was delicious! They accommodated dietary restrictions and preferences from our guests, and we heard nothing but positive reviews for the food from our friends and family. This venue is perfect for intimate weddings (we hosted about 80 guests), and the natural wood and beautiful details in the space make it so you barely have to decorate. We also loved the nature surrounding the venue, which we used for our ceremony and wedding party photos. If we had to get married all over again, we'd choose Arterra!”

“We stayed here years ago and enjoyed the beautiful prairie scenery and delightful country breakfast. We are going next week for hubby's birthday to stay in the Claret Room. The owner, Mary, seeks to make each person's stay unforgettable!”

“Unlike many hipster bars who think that having a beer on tap that only five people have ever drunk, somebody at GG who knows beer actually curates the stuff available. It's next to impossible to find a place like this. It's so much better than the trendoid dumps pimping for reviews that say "chill vibe."”

“Really enjoyed my stay at this location. Staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was done well. The room was nice and the property overall was well maintained. I asked to have my receipt emailed and a week after my stay I’ve not yet received my invoice. I’ve made three calls, allowing the phone to ring 30 times and cannot get anyone to answer. I really need to submit my expense report. Help! Don’t fumble on the goal line!”

“This hotel has a cool castle-like vibe. Room we had was HUGE- two king beds. Hotel faces the KU campus in a residential neighborhood. Two houses down are a few frat houses and college apartments. It is right there by the football stadium as well!”
