Im from London but I was travelling for a couple of months and my fiancé is from Lawrence so we stayed downtown for around a month. having been away from my regular London salon my extensions had grown out and id had to take them out, but had no idea where I could have some put back in. I did some research and found The Loft on google and after checking out some of the images on their instagram set up a meeting with Christina for a consultation, this was incredibly easy to do through text and she was super accommodating!During my consultation she recommended I have a kertain treatment (My hair is bleached and badly damaged.) and immediately went to work matching my hair colour and finding the right extensions for me. We decided to do a root smudge too to avoid me havinging to bleach my roots again.Within 48hrs she texted to let me know my extensions had come in, I went in initially for my keratin treatment which left my hair feeling so much stronger and healthier and then went in to get my extensions around 3 days after to let the treatment settle.Christina managed to blend my roots PERFECTLY to the existing blonde hair and extensions and I'm so glad I took her advice to do a Keratin treatment first and take things slowly because my hair looked and felt so. much. better.She was also a pleasure to spend time with and the salon is cool, clean, and they stock Davines products (which are very popular in the UK and brilliant) and basically all the products she used smelled great and each appointment felt luxurious and relaxing.Her prices are really great for the service you receive and im so glad to now know of a great salon right in down town Lawrence which I can come back to next time im in town!Services: Hairstyling

Christina Is wonderful! I went in to get my hair cleaned up and showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she made it happen! She was a lovely conversationalist and the time just flew by. She recommended a few different products specific to my hair type and is super Knowledgeable in her craft. Definitely would recommend and will be going back for future cuts!

I had an appointment with Emily for a trim and coloring. She did a great job and totally changed my hair with just one appointment. My hair health improved a lot with her recommended hair treatment. She has very good energy and is fun to talk to. I'll definitely go back. The shop is very clean and cute with many plants.

Brooke K. is amazing! She took the time to talk to me and gave me several recommendations based on my personal style and preferences. I've gotten to the point where I simply ask her to "work her magic". I've loved every cut/ color combo she's done for me... absolutely would recommend her!!

Can't say this with enough of my chest, a unisex haircut. Men they have got your back and will get you set up right and keep the flow you worked so hard on. I can't tell you what to do but I can judge you for sure if you are getting your hair cut any where else. Long curly dying mens hair here recieved a nice professional trim up that gives me some hair to style still. And a nice genuine conversation. They didn't just cut my hair at request but helped me understand what I had on my head and how i could be maximizing its potential. Did not feel like I was being up sold but I walked out with products that I feel genuinely improved my hair health. Will be going back, will be recommending.

Jessie cut my hair for me. She was quick, gentle, and kind. I have very finicky hair, and usually I don't love the way it turns out, this haircut was a massive exception. She worked with my odd hair texture skillfully, and I can not reccomend her enough.Service: Haircut

One night I wanted to drink until my liver failed but none of my friends wanted to, so I decided the best alternative was to bleach my hair, which was the worst possible alternative. My hair consisted of brown, orange, yellow, and white stripes after the damage was done. Somehow Brooke (a goddess) managed to take me from looking like a 25 year old musty golden retriever, to a queen. 10/10 would recommend.

The best experience at a salon since moving to Kansas. Christina worked for 4 hours on color correcting a bad bleach job and fixing an uneven cut. I felt so cared about and pampered the entire time. I am in love with my hair again! She worked her magic by adding dimension to the various colors and achieved my ideal color that I have been wanting. Highly suggest. I will be back!
