Another reviewer complained of them being closed etc. They are open, just moved over to Mass Street. The salon owner just personally texted me prior to my appt to make sure I knew of the new location. But it was pretty clear from the website too. Sounds like owner might have seen the last bad review and is making sure that doesn't happen again. Really recommend Nikki! Great place.

This place has CLOSED. I am new to the area and made an appointment online for color and a cut with Nikki. I traveled from Topeka for this appointment, but once I got here, I discovered that the studio has permanently closed. I was informed that Nikki is now styling somewhere else in Lawrence, but I am certainly not going to go find her. I even got a reminder email telling me of my appointment today. How hard would it have been to either shut down the online appointment scheduler, or call/email me to cancel my appointment? I wasted half a workday and spent an unnecessary hour in the car. Very unprofessional.

My hair was down to the middle of my back and I went in to Dandy to get a pixie cut! Nikki was my stylist and she did a phenomenal job. I showed her some pictures from Pinterest that I loved and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She was very attentive to the specifics of the cut and was very nice. It's always great to find a stylist of really listens and also gives you advice on styling. I'll be going back soon to get color.

I was in town visiting my boyfriend for the week at KU when I came across this absolute GEM! Nikki is so knowledgeable about all things hair care, and she is so genuine!! They use Kevin Murphy products which was a huge plus for me:) would 10/10 recommend The Dandy Hair Studio for anyone in Lawrence looking for an amazing hair experience!
