I like this place usually 5 stars, but the online check-in has become a problem in the last 2 months.
I used to be able to check-in and arrive with no issues for a few years.
Now the list is like days long and tons of people drop out and the waiting is so ridiculous. I once came in scheduled recently and didn't get my cut until 2 hours after scheduled when we were waiting on a list of no-shows.
I swear everyone in Lawrence now just online schedules everywhere in town. Then just jumps in wherever. I'm about 3-8 miles away from there on most given days but with how we can't pinpoint a time the traffic is so insane at certain times that they will actually drop me from the lineup if I can't move on a dime for the cancellations that are becoming more frequent. It's just silly at this point, I may as well haircut out of town. I mean it's like mothers of 3 kids just schedule everywhere in town and then cancel 2 of the 3 places and create these terrible holes.
At this point I'd rather just pre-pay for appointments. Let those multi schedulers pay the full price of a haircut and cancel. That would dissuade them or at least make you money while doing so and make things more convenient for actual customers. I've probably wasted $70 in gas just trying to get a haircut for the last two months around town.

The customer service at the location was unprofessional. The haircuts were fine but the assistant manager was very rude to my child and made my child cry by her rudeness. There is a certain way to speak to children and this is not the place to take your kids to. Will not be returning.

I love getting my haircut here don't get me wrong. But today wasn't the day to go I guess... my haircut looks awful and the barber who cut my hair barely said a word to me. Today was a special day for me and ruined my day with a ugly haircut... The price was too high for the service I got. Was shocked to see the first suggested tip amount is $7. That's wild. Will definitely make sure I get someone else next time...

My experience was not what i was expecting. When i got there two ladies where chatting at the from desk. The first question was “ did you check online?”. Then she turned to talk to coworker they were so unprofessional. We got checked in, hairstyles came and said “hi to my child”. I saw, quickly my child tensed up with her but we continued; i asked the hairstylist if she was going to use a booster chair for the my child she said “no”. My little boy got more tense while she was cutting his hair. It was obvious he needed a booster chair to have my child sitting tall, so she can have a clear view to cut his hair. For the past year every hairstylist used a booster chair because kids are small and they don’t fit on the chair. The back of the chair was taller than my child. Haircut looked terrible, but for the sake of my child i gave positive vibes. The left side was uneven, the back looked long, and poorly cut. The hair around his left ear was short and on the right side was still long. I wanted a trim for his front bangs, cleanup the hair around ears, and cut the back, but leave the messy look. At home my husband pointed out the mistakes done to our child’s hair, and had to fix the haircut, since my child refused to go see his usual hairstylist the next day. I got the feeling this place was not a child friendly environment and they had no experience cutting their hair either. I will not take my kids to this Location again, and I don’t recommend to take your child here for a haircut. I wasted my time and my money. Still after fixing my child’s haircut I noticed the bangs on front looked awful and uneven. Yes! Our little boy wanted messy bangs, but not one side longer and the other side shorter.

Their customer service sucks! I went in to get a haircut Saturday. The ladies at the front desk asked if I had checked in online I said no I just wanted a haircut they told me they could NOT cut my hair unless I logged in on their kiosk. 5 minutes at the kiosk for a 10 minute haircut. I do not need a digital footprint to get my haircut. The $24 haircut was mediocre at best and then then have the audacity to ask for a tip. Needless to say I will not ever be back. No I would NOT recommend this place for men's haircuts. Go to Rexs barbershop downtown it's $14Service: Haircut
