I understand having a short supply of items and restocking being an issue with all of the current events going on so I’m not going to talk down on how their store has been scare since the pandemic.What I will talk about is the manager/girl training another person tonight was HORRIBLE. Where do they not honor the price of several items that were incorrectly labeled? It’s not my fault their stockers put things in the wrong place, same brand, but the items for the lower prices were out of stock. To clarify this isn’t one item being misplaced, there were 10 in the wrong location. Properly stock inventory or honor the price.

I walked in, girl behind counter sitting and texting on her phone. No acknowledgement I was there. I asked where something was, she answered, continued on her phone!!!! Really?????

Very poor attitudes from the staff. Even disrespectful to my wife. Amazon is thriving because places like this makes shopping a difficult experience. You can just order online with zero attitude being given. Wouldn't be surprised to see this place go out of business

Super helpful employees. They saved my hair from being fried off and I am very thankful for that. The only place I’ll go for my hair dying and styling needs. They helped make my blonde hair not be orange hair like I’ve done before.

I was the 1st person in the store upon opening. I was greeted but never helped as I perused the store, searching for items, clearly not finding what I needed. Five minutes after my arrival another client enters and engages the clerk. They spoke for over 5 minutes. I went to counter to checkout and they continued to talk. When they paused their conversation I asked to be checked out. I was told by the clerk that there are other people in the store. I indicated that I was the first customer and had been walking around, unassisted, and then had patiently waited to be checked out prior to asking her to do so.She rudely huffed and walked over, continuing to try to tell me why she should continue to help the person she was with but no longer speaking to. I told her to stop while she was ahead, getting quite irritated with this obvious display of unprofessional and BIASED behavior. After ringing my order, she placed my receipt on the counter (not in my outstretched hand) and told me that she "hopes I have a better day. "My day was quite perfect prior to this horrid interaction and now much better that others know. However, browsing the reviews, it is clear that my situation is not a rare occurrence! If Sally continues to employ people of this character they will lose loyal clients as they have just lost me. Their product line for women of color has dwindled to just half of one case on one row, encompassing less than 20% of the store. It's clear that in the near future they won't carry our products and perhaps treating customers rudely, ignoring them, not offering assistance, and berating them is their way to expedite that process.

Unfortunately. After coming here multiple times over the past 4 years of living in Lawrence, I'll have to agree with the reviews below. The staff here at Sally's always seems as if they never want to be here, but today I had the worst experience from the clerk - Taylor. I have been doing my own nails for almost 3 years now and I come here to get all my supplies. I like to shop in person than online so I know what I'm getting. Last time I was in a rush and grabbed the wrong powder color and needed to exchange for the same size and different color today. Taylor came back with what I thought was the same size and the color I needed, but it was a bigger size so it was an up charge. Taylor failed to communicate that with me prior to ringing it up. I didn't bring my wallet because usually even exchanges you don't pay anything. I let her know I would have to go back to the car and get my wallet and I'm assuming she thought I wasn't coming back at all and snatched both the products back and said very sarcastically "have a great day". This kind of service is disappointing especially because I spend so much money here and come here frequently. I hope that Sally's can put customer service at the top of their priority list in the future, because this makes me want to drive to another town and shop there.

The woman that helped me was great! Their hair swatches are back ordered so she sat there and helped me find the best color for me by searching the swatches on their website. Always impressed with the service!

Megan, Sofia, Taylor and Abby are amazing and always help me when I come. I always come back in because they are always helpful. I’m a pro member too. They are always helpful. They helped me get my hair a beautiful purple black ombré color and then they also recommended aphogee which is life changing for your hair and ion conditioner. All the girls there are amazing and so helpful. They have one of the best customer service in the area.

Nikki was super helpful today helping us find the perfect silver color and giving suggestions but also took the time to go check for a very specific one we found online and we left with everything we needed! Everyone is also super helpful when we go in but Nikki went above and beyond tonight!

Today at Sally's this blonde, thin girl was pressuring us to leave as soon as we came in. We asked how much this product is and she took the product out of my husband's hands and said if u want to buy this you need to leave now. Spoke and glared very rudely while raising her voice.The place closed at 8:00pm and it was exactly 7:59pm no matter what time it is you shouldn't be rude to customers like that. My husband said is this the $5 dollar bleach? she pointed at another product very rudely. As soon as we walked out the store she locked the door aggressively and I was very very upset .. It ruined my whole night. Also made me feel like I had to buy the product felt very unwelcomed and the whole time being there was very uncomfortable. Nobody should feel this way!

I like to shop at Sally's Beauty store , but they need to keep the hair color in stock for women of color., no one has time to go down the road and shop a lot of the time.
