Marks Jewelers is my favorite Jewelry store in LK! They do such great work, have amazing jewelry, and most importantly, the most helpful and caring staff. I went in this week with a ton of questions regarding jewelry. The staff was so patient and didn't hesitate to answer all my questions and show me every piece of jewelry that I needed to see. I was especially fond of the manager, Jazmyn Cheray. She was incredibly kind, personable, and made me want to come back again and again just to chat with her! Thank you Marks Jewelers for making my jewelry experience so memorable!

i have came to Mark's Jeweler's lots of times They are so Paitent and very caring and Very Nice they Fixed my watches lots of times when it Either had Dead Batteries or if they needed Cleaning They Replaced the Broken glass cover on my watch and fix me up for only $75 dollars that was alright i was able to Pay that i am going to start coming here from Now on :)

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone what with my experience versus the other reviews, but here goes. Bummer to have to post this. This is an email I sent to the store. Never did get a reply:Hi, Hope this finds you well. I’m following up about my recent experience with you all.I brought in a modestly-priced Fossil watch for a battery replacement and cleaning. The watch cost $75; the cost of service (with a new crystal added to the work) was $85. That’s okay — I expected to pay a fair amount once the crystal was added to the work. However, there were some problems:- I dropped off the watch but never got a call back as to the cost of the job or approximate finish date.- I walked in a week later and got a price for the work but no completion date.- Then, a week or so later, I’d not heard whether the work was done, so I dropped in again and learned the work was complete.Lastly, and most importantly, though the watch was cleaned as best I could tell, the band still showed some grime in its creases and on the buckle. I took a picture of the buckle — there was a very noticeable blob of something on it. Pretty gross. Please let me know your thoughts.Hope the rest of you all have a better experience with what appears to be a longstanding and reputable business...

I was in need of a reputable jeweler to replace the battery and inspect my husband's KU insignia watch he received from his father when he graduated in 1996. He wanted to gift it to our son who was graduating this spring in Computer Engineering. Marks did a spectacular job of looking it over, cleaning it, and replacing the battery. They did the work quickly and gave us enough time to wrap and present it at his dinner party. The watch looked beautiful-in fat it looked brand new! I'll definitely use Mark's again. Highly recommend.

In 2014, my husband sat down with the owners of Marks and created my one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Although there were some hiccups along the way, I have certainly been surprised and impressed with the professionalism and kindness of this business. I am a proud patron, and continue to receive (what I feel) is some of the best customer service in Lawrence. The employees are warm and inviting, and knowledgable about the beautiful products. I went here thinking my Fossil vintage silver watch needed replated. The silver looked worn off down to the black base cover. But all it needed was a professional cleaning and polishing. It looks like new. They have done other excellent work for me over the years. I highly recommend Marks Jewelers!

Every time I go there, I feel that they truly care about the people who shop there. The selection is outstanding and very high quality.

I LOVE MARKS SO MUCH!! I have used them for a variety of jewelry items, but most recently I used them for everything for my wedding. My husband originally gave me his grandmother's ring as an engagement ring, but one of the diamonds was fractured so we knew we needed to get that part replaced. Marks helped me design a ring that kept the basic structure and timelessness of the original ring, but replaced the fractured portion and even helped me create a pendant with a piece of the original ring to give to my mother-in-law. They also helped me find a perfect wedding band as well as a nice Jayhawks watch that was my wedding gift to my husband. We also used them for tons of jewelry cleaning which is always super effective and makes everything SHINE beautifully. They are just so professional and timely and capable and helpful. 10/10 would recommend for any jewelry needs!

I went in just for a ring size and fix on two rings I was told it’s very expensive, which wasn’t a problem for me so I continued to ask how much and she just continued to say it’s expensive. Sad to say they could of had a sell and I was wanting to not just get my rings fixed but I wanted to purchase other items that I seen while inside, but since I was rushed and was not told a price on anything I took my business else where. Typical reason why u shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover (in this case me). Yes I feel it was a bit prejudice only because she was making side remarks about my ring and my appearance. All thumbs down to this place!

Supposed to have a ring ordered and in store for pickup Tuesday. Come in and they still haven’t received the ring 5 days later. They try to tell me they can make the exact same in 15 minutes. I said no I want the ring I ordered and he became offensive and very rude. Poor communication and customer service highly recommend not buying from here

Completed a clock repair in time for a big occasion, and on a fairly short deadline. We really appreciated Marks Jewelers’ effort and professionalism. Clock works great! We were glad we could get it repaired at a locally owned business in Downtown Lawrence.
