The owners are amazing and go out of their way to attend to their tenants' needs. My dog is a loner, he is almost blind and has mobility issues, but Steve and Peggy (and Dale, too) made him feel comfortable. Receiving regular updates with pictures was great, too. We stayed there three times over the past year, and I can't say enough good things about Kennel Crest! Highly recommend!!!

Dropping off my dog and picking up my dog. Was the best service ever. Very passionate about animals, I felt like family was taking care of my dog.

Steve and Peggy run a wonderful place!!!They have gained my utter loyalty and complete trust when it comes to caring for my pup pups. Whenever I need lodging for my furry companions, this place is where I want my precious Artemis and my brother's dog, Maybie, to stay. Both dogs are 60+ lbs. What you can expect for Kennel Crest(what they promise is what you get and more!!!):- Experienced and caring animal lovers who own this wonderful boarding facility.- People who will give individual, exceptional and genuine care for your fur baby. Don't worry if your pet has any anxiety or special needs.(My Artemis is a stubborn pittie mix who is very picky about who she trusts and likes and she absolutely loved Steve and Peggy!)- People who really want to get to know your furry beloved while your pet is being boarded.- People who will fulfill special requests for your pet.- A clean, well maintained and well kept place for your fur baby. No smelly odors in the facility and no pet returned reeking of stink!- Plenty of room for even the largest of dog breeds. The individual kennels are very spacious with indoor + outdoor access. If your doggie has trouble with figuring out the door to get outside, no worries; time will be spent helping them figure out the "doggie door" just like with my Artemis.- Very, very reasonable pricing and your pet will receive the best quality and care!(If you doubt me, look up pricing and accommodations with other mainstream facilities. Also, look behind the closed doors at what your beloved pet is really receiving. About 2 years ago, my previous dog Phoenix(also 60+lbs) was kept in a roughly 2.5' x 3' kennel/cage along with approximately 40 other dogs who were crying and clawing and desperately wanting their owners to pick them up. I will never entrust my pup pup to a place like that again.)- Owners who will go above and beyond the "standard" necessities that I would normally expect from a boarding kennel.-Your precious fur baby will be soooo happy to see you when you return, of course, but will have been very, very well taken care of.On a side note, when I went to pick up Artemis and Maybie, Maybie had recently soiled her bed. Her bed had already been washed and was currently in the dryer. I also forgot to load up the tub of dry dog food in my eagerness to get the pups home. It holds almost a full 30 lb bag og dry dog food. By the time I got home, which is almost 30 min away, Peggy was already trying to contact me about it. Steve and Peggy drove the distance and delivered that tub to me. That was my blunder and they went above and beyond to make sure that it got returned.Instead of acting like it was the occasional FedEx or Amazon truck "intruder" on their turf, both Artemis and Maybie were rushing to greet Steve and Peggy as beloved friends!!So, if you're nearby and needing boarding accommodations for your fur baby, I sincerely recommend Kennel Crest!! I know both Artemis and Maybie agree with me!-Jessica Eberhart(Feel free to ask for my contact info from Steve or Peggy from Kennel Crest if you would like to know more. They have my trust and confidence!)

I have used Kennel Crest twice, each time for a week. My dog does not like other dogs so the group type dog daycare/boarding places aren't an option for her. At Kennel Crest my dog gets her own run with half of the run being inside and the other half being outside. There is a dog door connecting the two so my dog can choose whether she wants to be inside or outside. The inside half is air conditioned/heated. The lower half of the run wall is concrete and the upper half is chain link fencing. They take my dog out of her kennel run twice a day and place her in a fenced-in area outside (by herself, not with other dogs, which is important to me) and clean her kennel twice a day.The first time I boarded my dog I asked staff to place her in a kennel at the far end, against the wall, so it would minimize her interaction with other dogs. (I didn't want her to frighten other dogs and stress them out) The staff were more than happy to accommodate my request and must have written a note in my account because the second time I boarded her they already had the same kennel set up for her and knew I was going to request the last kennel.I appreciate that they let me walk my dog to her kennel so I can see exactly where she will be at. They fed her twice a day, at my request, and gave her a chew bone every day like I requested. My dog completely destroyed her bed I brought so the staff set it aside in case I wanted to keep it, which I thought was a nice gesture. They gave her blankets to sleep on instead. I also expected my dog to be a little dirty from spending a week in a kennel but she actually looked cleaner when I picked her up. My husband even asked if they gave her a bath. I don't think they did but if they did that's great! My dog seems happy when I pick her up from Kennel Crest which in turn makes me happy!!! I would highly recommend.

Top notch!! We travel a lot and I am always comfortable leaving my 4 legged children with Steve and his crew. They treat my dogs like family. My pups are happy when they have to go stay at Kennel Crest and they are just as happy when I pick them up!!

Just call it Kennel Cough Crest! Kennel cough for last 2 stays. In September spent over $500.00 in vet bills for 4 dogs who suffered & are still on antibiotics. The owner's dog & 2 others also were infected...possibly more. BEWARE.

They took incredible care of our Great Dane. It was his first time being boarded and when he refused to eat, they feed him canned dog food of their own. They were also great with the miscommunication that occured between my husband and I. We won't hesitate to board with them again
