Marcia is amazing!! My fiancé and I have kept coming back with Marcia as our tax professional and we couldn't be more pleased. She took all the time we needed, answered all our questions everytime no problem with great explanation. I actually felt like she cared about us and our situation the entire time. Very patient and kind. 100% 10/10 recommend Marcia everytime.

My son who is a fulltime college student was met with unprofessionalism and when I went in with him, I was met with the same environment. He had two W-2's and a one 1099 which he received for a casting call. His income was low enough that his tax was $84 and when he was trying to understand that his refund of less than $500 was not enough to cover their expenses which was over $500 he was met with ignorance. And when I asked the tax preparer, she spoke to him ignorantly asking about him having his own business which we informed her again he didn't. He is a college student who works part time, all the years previous I worked with H&R Block we helped these kids as we are aware of their full time student situation. He was also told he had to pay in full the day before, which led me to go in and ask for his items which they returned very unprofessionally. These young kids are learning and this H&R Block location needs to do better, not take advantage of students and be patient. I have worked for H&R Block, used the online tax system for over 20 years and have never experienced this kind of service.

For so many years I haven been using their service, H&R Block become like a family for me that I see once a year. I like that warm, relaxing aura in H &R Block office on 23rd Street in Lawrence, KS. The whole process goes smooth and quick without any complications which means saved time for me. And I value time more than money.
