This hotel and staff is amazing. We were greeted by name and throughout the stay. The rooms are update, and were very clean. This property is located close to Mass Street and to many shopping and food locations. I will come back!

My husband were very happy with our 2 night stay at the Hampton Inn in Lawrence this weekend. Service was friendly, the rate was reasonable, the room was clean, well maintained & hotel environment was quiet. Our room was next to elevator & we couldn’t hear a thing from it.

The only person working the front desk was incompetent, lazy, and could care less about customer service. He didn't look up, didn't say hello, didn't even acknowledge my presence for 15 minutes while staring at another family's confirmation email and trying to find their reservation unsuccessfully. The least someone can do when they know they're having a problem and they're the only staff available, is to say hello and I'll be with you as soon as I can. He literally said nothing in 15 minutes to me and the only thing he said to this poor other family is," let me see that confirmation email again"........three times. I finally interrupted this politely as possible to tell him that the digital key didn't work and I need a physical room key. You would think. I asked him to comp my entire stay as put out as he was to take 20 seconds and make me a key. 30 minutes later I went back to my car for something in that poor family was still sitting there in the lobby. Waiting for him to discover something new on his computer that would allow them to get a room for the night.To top it off, the room was dirty to the point that the air blowing directly at my face in bed all night long landed me at an urgent care center 48 hours later with a raging sinus infection. The room was stagnant, smelly, and dirty.I would avoid this hotel at all costs. There are definitely better options around there in probably people that work there that appreciate having a job where customers matter.

Not the worst place I've ever stayed, very attractive on the outside, lobby, pool, etc. However I can't give more than 2 stars because overall, there were just too many issues. It could use a good scrubbing. The carpet in our room was absolutely filthy. Just so so dirty you don't want to walk around the room in your bare feet. Husband killed a nasty looking spider IN the bed. Beds were just OK, pillows were tiny and worthless. Breakfast was fine if you only want cold items--cereal, yogurt, etc. Coffee was offered in air pots but was pretty good. Otherwise the hot breakfast items were a huge disappointment, bland and boring. Sausage links had been over baked in the oven and were petrified. Breakfast is huge for us when we book a hotel, so we would not stay again for that reason alone.P.S. I'd pick another spot until that road is fixed!! Not their fault, but the construction crew severed their internet line and we were without any internet the entire 3-day stay. In addition, road construction on their access road made it very very difficult to access the hotel. You had to drive over roads that were all torn up, and more than once had to wait for work trucks due to construction in progress.

Great hospitality, quiet rooms, nicely remodeled. Started staying here for our road trips back to the Midwest, definitely the Hilton property to stay at in Lawrence. The hospitality was outstanding, front desk staff found a way to provide everything a 7 month pregnant wife wanted to be comfortable. Seriously I cannot thank the staff enough.

Room was pretty dirty. TV chair was full of hair dirty and malted...? Desk chair was very dirty.Pillows are super thick and uncomfortable. Blanket was dirty.Shower didn't work right. our go-to stopover hotel when driving across the country - up to date hotel good location in a great little town. Enjoyed dinner at the MadGreek and breakfast pastries at Wheatfield Bakery.

Phenomenal customer service. Had a few issues (out of the staffs control), but they remedied everything so fast. One of the best Hiltons I’ve stayed at and I travel 90% of the year due to work. Bobby with the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay great. Can’t thank him enough!!

Typical Hampton inn...asked for a king got 2 queens, room had a 1/4 window...curtains covered an entire wall to give the appearance of a full size window...TV was small and old..not worth the price.

One of the best & cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in lately. Staff was friendly & helpful. Room & bathroom super clean. Couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms. Only “complaint” was the soda machine was empty but honestly that was fine. There were drinks available in the lobby and they were cheaper!!!Location was close enough to all the places we needed to go. Only a 6- 8min drive to stores, restaurants and college.Rooms: Very clean! Beds were comfortable. Fridge & microwave worked. The air conditioning worked well enough. It was extremely humid outside and the room, while cold, felt humid too. I don’t think that was the fault of the hotel though.

This Hampton is very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The employees were welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay feel special.I’d stay here again, and recommend this Hampton Inn.Rooms: The rooms were extremely clean, and well maintained. The owners clearly take pride in their hotel and keep it looking new.
