Due to Genesis closings in the Midwest, it is impossible to get timely service of a Genesis vehicle. It is not this dealership's fault that the scheduling and availability it so poor. It is purely due to Genesis management in the area. If you are in the Midwest, do not buy a Genesis unless you're willing to wait months and drive hours to get simple service.

Unable to schedule a basic oil change less than 60 days out. Dealership does not answer phone. Can’t pay for service with credit card and they don’t tell you until you show up. Don’t buy a genesis

The sales staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They’re great at keeping you up to date on the status of your vehicle order and being patient with teaching you how to use your car. More importantly, they’re not trying to unfairly price gouge you like many dealers are trying to do these days. The big downside is that service waiting area is really basic and even below average for economy car dealerships. You won't for a second think you’re at a Genesis dealership, you are unquestionably at a Hyundai dealership. Thankfully, there’s at least free wifi, free water bottles, and a coffee machine, but the chairs themselves aren’t all that comfortable and feel like they’re something out of the waiting room of a clinic, there’s only one toilet/stall available in the men’s restroom, and the tv is small and isn’t visible from all the seats. They don’t even provide amenities like a free car wash (which every Volkswagen dealership provides) after servicing your vehicle, which results in receiving your car dirtier and smudgier than when you first gave it to them. When you buy an expensive luxury vehicle, you expect a premium dealership experience for the life of your vehicle. Thankfully, with the first three years of complementary maintenance, you can utilize the valet concierge service where they’ll drop off a loaner car and take your car to get serviced so you can avoid the dealership experience altogether. Hopefully, the Genesis dealership experience is better in three years. For now, while Genesis vehicles are fantastic, the dealership has a lot of work to do.

Regarding the purchase of a new vehicle, I have to give them 5 stars! Todd Kelley was responsive & patient with us during the process. Not only that, the dealership didn't price gouge us by adding on a cost over MSRP while every other dealership in the area are. Plus they honored the dealer incentives that are happening now. This dealership respects the customer. I highly recommend their sales department! Hopefully I can say the same thing about their service department in the future.

During this unprecedented time, we have had the unfortunate necessity of replacing, trading and buying 3 vehicles. Todd made this experience as straightforward, smooth, and transparent as possible, communicating via text with updates on vehicle availability as well as rate changes, even doing so while he was on vacation!
