Took my car to Garber Automotive because it was running rough. It's a classic car modified with some more modern components. Most shops won't even give me the time of day. Garber Automotive didn't blink when I told them about the car. They got me in fairly quickly, and by the end of the appointment day my car was running like a champ. I’ve taken my car to Garber for two separate appointments to get my air condition fixed, tires aligned, and diagnostic testing. Each time I’ve taken my car in, they’ve been very quick and efficient with their service. The woman that works for the front desk is super nice and always explains any additional costs, answers my questions, and work with my schedule to make appts. For a girl that doesn’t know much about cars, I feel very comfortable with Garber Automotive and will definitely be taking my vehicle there anytime it needs serviced in the future!

Micah and his team are my go-to in Lawrence for my car repair needs. I completely trust them to be honest with me and they have on several occasions not charged me for things they could have. They are always prompt in their service and my repairs have always been completed on time. I have always been charged as quoted or less, and Paige in the office is always great about updates when I have inquired. I love the text messaging capability they have and their e-invoices allow me to use Apple Pay to pay for their services straight from my phone. Both of these features they offer are huge conveniences, saving me time in my busy schedule. I recommend Garber Automotive to everyone who ever asks me about shops in Lawrence.

Took my old subaru in for brakes and tires and it rides and drives better than it ever has. I didn't compare prices with other shops but I'm sure they're competitive. They used good quality parts and I like going to locally owned businesses.

I needed a part put back on my fiat and they had it reattached for a very reasonable price within 20 minutes! They were very friendly and helpful and even allow you to schedule appointments via text - which is super appreciated!I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs done!Service: Auto maintenance

Scheduling was easy, service took a reasonable amount of time, and the cost was more than fair. Had them do an oil change and initial chassis inspection of a used Class C RV, which most shops don't want to touch, and they didn't bat an eye about it. Will use them again.Services: General repairs & maintenance

My grandfather took his Chevy Impala here and requested for me to write a review for him. He was exceptionally pleased with the service at Garber from the women who runs the front desk, to the mechanics taking the time to explain in detail the problem, and how they repaired it. Garber offered great communication and collectively make a good team. My grandfather said he would come back again and would recommend Garber Automotive to those in need of a good mechanic shop!
