If your tire has Fix-a-Flat in it they will tell you that the tire is ruined and that you need to buy a new tire. That is absolutely false. The salesman told me "it even says it on the can." It doesn't. Attached is a screenshot from the Fix-a-Flat website stating that it will not harm your tire. I pointed this out to the salesman and his response was "I still won't do it." I then drove to Discount Tire and explained what happened at Firestone. He laughed and said "You don't need to buy a new tire." Discount Tire fixed the slow leak that I had cleaned out the Fix-a-Flat residue. Good as new. I'm still giving Firestone two stars because they might be okay for an oil change in a pinch but do not let them talk you into buying things that you don't need.

Chris, Jordan, and Jesse were incredibly kind and helpful in getting us out-of-towers back on the road after breaking down. We had a unique vehicle and they were able to diagnose it and fix the problem within a few hours. This proved their expertise. They treated us like family and I would highly recommend going to them with your auto needs.

I've been a Firestone customer for decades. Recently I took my grandson, who just got his 1st car, there for some repairs on his car. They finished quickly, did a great job & applied all discounts & coupons like they always do with me. They also took time to explain what he needs to do to maintain his car properly.

Went in for a oil change. They charged $123.29, for the oil alone total of $166.92.Oil was 90.99 for first 5 quarts. And $32.30 for next 1.9 quarts. I was told they charge by the tenth of a quart for everything over 5 quarts.

This location goes above and beyond to make sure our vehicles are running good and let us know of any service issues that should be addressed.

Took my car in for a simple oil change apportionment at 9am and didn't get my car back until 6pm. The 16 yo looking guy behind the counter then proceeded to mansplain oil changes and how appointment work. Don't recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this store by anyone for any service. The way the store is run is unprofessional. I’ve made appointment for lifetime services from products purchased from other Firestone. The appointment keeps being changed and resent email confirmation. This is after I have already spoken on phone and canceled my appointment. After the fact they tend to answer the phone without any greeting and immediately put you on hold. Not even knowing if you called the right business. After that and telling them the issues with the upfront customer service, they are still using my missed appointment. They are using it as a filler on the schedule so they don’t have to take other work knowing I won’t be there. When you keep receiving email confirmation about time changes. They don’t call and tell you either about any of your changes. They automatically do it on computer and that’s good enough service over there.I’ve mentioned this to other stores now, as I’m having to drive further distance to have my vehicle worked on by Firestone in order to have my services completed. I will have to go out of my way to make my warranty products even available.DO NOT use this Firestone. Go anywhere else in Lawrence for your automotive needs. Sucks that my nationwide protection has to be used other than where I tend to spend a lot of my time.Again go somehow else in Lawrence, KS!

While looking for coupons to save money for oil change services saw that it was advertised for $29.99 and called to see the best way to set the service up, appointment or walk in. Was told new cars are NOT eligible, which is not addressed in the fine print of the coupon online. This shop will not honor coupons as advertised online. Don't set up an appointment and expect them to honor your coupons because they will bait and switch you for much more than what their sponsored coupons advertise with no reasoning from the fine print as advertised. They are a total bait and switch

Don't trust Firestone. They want every panny in your pocket. I have oil pressure light flashed and they told me my car's oil is completely dry. Rediculous right? Also trying let me replace sensor which is nothing to do with oil pressure. Never trust Firestone unless you want to get robbed.

I see there is an email we are told to go to for complaints. this is what I sent yesterday, and have not had a reply. We had a car worked on and applied for the Firestone card to cover the bill, and I thought there was a sign out front that said 10% discount while opening an account, but when I paid the invoice, it was for the full amount $2032.08.The gentleman at the counter said that he forgot to apply the discount but that it would be taken care of the next day when the business manager got there. Said I didnt even need to call- he would put a post-it note on the application before I even received a bill.A month later we get the bill and we were billed the full amount. I called today, and was told the discount is only 5%. I was then told it would only be $88 I would get back, as though that were not enough of an amount to deal with. Then I was told I needed to provide my zip code and social security number over the phone to refund it to my card. Or I could drive in to Lawrence from Overland Park to get the money.$88 does not seem like much to some. It does to a college kid. I did not make the mistake so I am not sure why I need to drive 40 minutes to get a solution or give my social security number. Please let me know there is a way to handle this that does not make me out to the be the bad guy, but just someone who pays what we were told to pay. Thanks!

This place charged me $140 for an oil change and made me wait for two hours. I have a Volkswagen so I do need synthetic oil but $140 is just absolutely messed up. I tried to talk to them about how this made no sense but they just kept telling me I need special oil and that thats really expensive. How come I normally only pay $70 at different places? I wanted to look up oil prices or look for a coupon but my phone was dead from being there so long. I left this place crying since I'm a broke college kid and I was completely taken advantage of and treated as if I was stupid when I politely told them the pricing made no sense. Come here if you want to be scammed :)
