Had good experiences here in the past (over 2 years ago). On my most recent visit, however, I experienced poor customer service in store and a serious lack of communication. I also seriously suspect I was charged for an alignment and safety inspection that were not actually completed because they did not give me any paperwork related to the inspection or alignment and some obvious things were missed that should have been caught during an inspection. I would rather take my vehicle somewhere else and accept the loss than try and argue with them over these issues but wanted to leave this review as a warning to others.

They are fast to fix and seem to do a good job. I had a problem with my ac it was switching on and off all summer. They got me in fast and out and fixed.very courteous folks working there as well . I will go back

Doug’s auto shop saved our vacation. Our van broke down while on vacation and everyone else said it was going to be two weeks before they could get us in. We were really getting worried. We couldn’t wait two weeks as we were far from home. We called Doug’s and they said they would make sure to get us in that day.
Not only that but they were super honest. The dealership was going to charge us $2000 for the fix and make us wait, but Doug’s automotive had us back on our vacation in two hours and only $400. We resumed our vacation and have not had any trouble with our van since!

Our van broke down on a cross country road trip. The Dodge dealer told us to pound sand when Doug got us at the last minute and got us on the road in half a day. Another shop told us $4,000+ and Doug had us on the road for $568.
They were a God send I can't thank them enough. He's a stand up guy.

Brought in an older Honda accord with just a couple issues I assumed were minor: fix an inside door handle that had come unlatched and replace a plastic lock cover on the interior door that had broken off. Assumed this would be a simple and easy fix, just didn't have the time to mess with it. I had never been to Doug's, but just trusted the overall positive online reviews.
Unfortunately Doug's never quoted me a price, just went ahead and ran a diagnostic ($115) and decided to replace the door lock actuator ($68.99 for the part, $115 for the labor). Ironically this is an older car and none of the other automatic locks work, so given the choice I would have never had them run diagnostics OR replace the door lock actuator. To remove and replace the door lock switch it was another $163.18.
By the time all was said and done, the whole ordeal took an entire week and I paid around $500. When I picked the car up only one of the automatic locks was working. I brought this up and was told to add lubrication to get the other locks going. Shocker - that didn't work. Really no huge deal, but why pay hundreds of dollars to fix one door lock motor on an old beat up car if the other three don't work? Logic would say 'just leave it alone.'
Had I known what I do now, I would have just kept driving it as it was. Would have been really nice if the crew at Doug's would have thought to involve me in the decision making, or at least given me some other options, before I was stuck with such a high cost for what I thought was going to be a quick and easy fix.
I brought all this up with staff, but was told most of their customers just trust them to make these calls. Won't be returning.

As a woman who hasn’t invested much time in understanding cars, I appreciated being treated with responsiveness and transparency about prices. I can recommend this repair shop to others who are in similar positions!

Ended up needing to replace my water pump and got that diagnosed at Meineke, which you may think would be cheaper than a mechanic. They tried charging me an outrageous amount for just that, so I decided to call around to find a mechanic. Doug’s gave me an estimate and was able to get my car in a good time. Right away I could tell these guys were legit. He also found a couple other issues, that meineke wasn’t including in there estimate and he gave me a very good deal to get the water pump and those other issues fixed! He charged a lot less than anyone else and wasn’t trying to screw me over like you see many mechanics do today! Highly recommend!

I took my vehicle to Doug's Automotive & Alignment to have the starter replaced, because it was sporadic and weak. Five days pass, and I hear nothing from Doug's. I called, and I was told they had already completed different fixes on the vehicle without even asking me beforehand for authorization - and that the vehicle was ready for pick-up. The starter had not been replaced, and these guys spent the time doing discursive work on the vehicle I had not asked for.\n$300 bucks later, the starter had not been replaced - and nothing of merit had really been accomplished. Further, Doug's Automotive & Alignment even had the nerve to write on the invoice that my starter is still acting weak! Holy cow.

The guys at Doug’s are great! I highly recommend them for all your car repair needs.They have done everything from the timing belt and water pump on a Lexus to AC repairs on an Xterra to simple oil changes and tire rotation on all my vehicles.They always explain exactly what issues the vehicle has and the best options for repair. If something isn’t urgent, they will let you know but make sure you are aware to be keeping an eye on it.The biggest reason I recommend them is that they are honest guys.They will shoot you straight.
