Absolutely love what LaVonna done for my hair. This is my second time. Loved how LaVonna styled my hair the first time, went back today for another wash and style. Absolutley the best . Friendly and great conversation as well Thank you, LaVonna so much. She made me look 10yrs+younger.

Lavonna did a great job coloring my daughters hair. She wanted teal, blue and purple hair, and she got exactly what she asked for. Lavonna was fun and interactive with my daughter throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a style and or color.

This salon is the absolute best in town. Lavonna has always done an amazing job. I personally prefer going lighter in the summer and darker in the winter, and she always makes the transition flawlessly! She is knowledgeable and will do an excellent job! She did my hair for my wedding and it was better than the pictures I showed her!

Didn't start off as a good experience she was running behind so was a 1/2 an hour late getting to me to do my hair having me wait in chairs. Then she didn't even wash my hair just sprayed some stuff in it then curled it Then pulled it slightly back wasn't impressed with how it looked then she seemed to only spray hairspray to hold the curls in the back leaving the front to come out before my wedding. This is on top of her re doing the front curls during the time she worked on it. Didn't seem to know very well what she was doing. No price was discussed with me when I set up the appointment which she had given me 2 different appt times and nothing was discussed when I got there... Ended up costing me 70 bucks as I went ahead and made it a even 70 from the $67 I was charged... Instead of just giving you the receipt and allowing you to privately add a tip she directly takes your card and asks you if you want to make a gratitude putting you on the spot Needless to say for what she did to my hair was not worth what I was charged a total waste of money.

I LOVE my hair and LOVE LaVonna! She is just fantastic! This is the first time I have truly loved my hair style in 5 years! She is just a wonderful person and took the time to get to know me and my routine for getting ready in the morning, as i commute and time is limited. In today's hectic world, she is a truly a "breath of fresh air". I walked in to her studio stressed and feeling haggard. I left feeling like I had just had the most relaxing day and feeling and looking like a million bucks! Thank you Lavonna! I recommend without hesitation

I would highly recommend Lavonna, (hope that's the right spelling!) she saved me after I had a terrible job done elsewhere. She inspired confidence in what she was doing, I wish I had found her in the first place. Also, this will mean something to you if you have fine hair. Many hairdressers are very negative about it and will say things like, " there's not much you can do because your hair is so fine" It makes a great change to go to a hairdresser who understands fine hair and doesn't make one feel down about it. I'm not a permanent resident of Lawrence or I would be going here regularly. I will go every time I'm able.

Lavonna saved my hair!! I called in a panic to fix a bad hair color job done by a different salon and she was extremely flexible and was able to fit me in as soon as one day later! I came out of the salon happier than ever with the color she artfully catered for me and although the appointment took longer than expected, she was still pleasant and created such a lively atmosphere in her salon. If there's any one you should trust with your hair, it's gotta be Lavonna!!

Decided to dye my hair on a whim and visited LaVonna at Color Studio for the first time this past weekend. I was definitely nervous since I've had dark, black hair a majority of my life but LaVonna walked me through options and helped me pick out what would look best. I went from dark hair to a lighter/ carmel brown and have been so excited about it since I walked out of the studio! Really glad it turned out so well :) and LaVonna is also such a happy and friendly person to work with!
