What a lovely, lovely garden store! I have driven by this store for years and never felt the need to stop. However, they recently ran a series of advertisements which impressed me. The advertisements featured the owners and the local feel. It showed the inventory of the store and how it was all laid out. I was intrigued and had to stop by on my next opportunity.Mothers Day provided me the perfect chance to visit this quaint establishment. They were very busy but they still gave me personal service and helped me with my purchases. I was able to pick out the perfect gift for a dear friend of mine.Don't be fooled by the outside of this store. It is HUGE! There are several greenhouses stocked to the brim with all sorts of different plants. They have invested quite a great deal of time and effort into inventory. Rows upon rows of beautiful plants and flowers. In addition to the greenhouses, there is a sprawling area in back of the store stocked with more flowers and plants. The inventory is not limited to the outside area and the greenhouses, either. The inside store is filled with beautiful plants. They have a large variety of succulents and other varieties of plants. In addition to plants, they have pots, plant coasters, fertilizers, watering devices, seeds, gardening tools and so much more. There is so much it is a bit overwhelming, in fact. The prices are a wee bit higher than you would pay at a Big Box store. However, it is worth a few extra dollars for personalized service and greater selection. Have you ever tried to get help at a Big Box garden store? It's non-existent and the selection of products is poor. The staff was great. They were chatty without being annoying and super helpful. I had no clue what I wanted to buy but they directed me to the perfect item. I never had to wander around the premises looking for help. They were front row and center there helping people.This store also has a playground to keep the kids entertained while the parents shop. Great idea! They provide carts for your big purchases because its so much easier to carry with the carts. This store is easily accessible and they have plenty of parking. There were no problems finding space even though they were super crowded. I have been back several times since my Mothers Day stop and I have received the same service quality each time. One of the most unique features of this store is there are flowers planted on the roof. Yep, the roof is lined with flowering pots welcoming the customers. Great shop.

I went in not sure what I needed, I just knew I wanted butterfly bushes and plants for pollinators. These ladies immediately led me to the bushes they did have, and put me on a list to be contacted for their new shipment. There were so many hands ready to help and they’ve already got a return customer out of me.

This has been my go to nursery but in the past 10 days I have made trips there only to not be able to make my purchase because of the lack of employees. The first time I could find no one in the yard for 20 minutes. In the store a woman was on the phone but no one else. When I went back in she was helping a customer while 3 of us were waiting to make a purchase. When she completed the purchase with the customer they got into a discussion about a plant and then proceeded to leave the store with him to show him where it was - leaving the 3 of us there alone. I simply left the plants on the counter and left. Today there was no one to be found but the same employee sitting at a table in the yard talking to someone. Two other customers and myself walked around looking for someone else and eventually left. There were several other cars in the lot which I assume were employees but they were AWOL. I will not be making trips there unless I happen to be passing by, and then will not wait to find anyone.

They have a great selection. They have flowering shade tolerant plants I've not seen anywhere else. They are a bit pricier than other places but the options and service definitely make it a store worth shopping for your garden or landscaping needs.

Adults and children alike enjoyed this enchanting garden center stocking a wide variety of plants, planters both practical and decorative, and other supplies. I cannot wait to go back to explore more possibilities. Another reason to appreciate our city and its citizens!
