Moved in to one of their apartments recently and this was the state of the dishwasher. Disgusting. I also had to clean out so many dead spiders from light fixtures, the microwave is from 2005, and there was false advertising of a washer and dryer when I found this apartment. Management is sub par. Maintenance is inconsiderate and tracks mud throughout apartment with no regard.UPDATE:My apartment flooded because of heavy rain due to foundation issues and was told they’re not going to do anything to fix the issue. My property was ruined and renter’s insurance won’t cover it. Oh, and they put random charges on your rent! Counting down the days to leave this spider/roach infested dumpster fire.

Decent apartments with a decent location next to the University. If you're lucky, you'll never have to deal with First Management apart from move-in, move-out, and maintenance. My apartment was not immaculately cleaned before I moved in, but was in alright condition. Overall, I enjoyed living at Briarstone and would recommend it if the price and apartment work for you.My biggest complaint is that tow trucks come like clockwork in the evening--even if the lot is mostly empty--to the point that I could identify the engine coming down the block and inevitably watch one or two cars get removed at a time. As a word of advice, do not let your friends or family park anywhere but the visitor lot at any time.

Decent, pricey, close to KU.
