Visited from Kansas City with my wife for the first time a few weeks ago. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We discussed darker clay bodies and their tendencies to blister or pinhole. They recommended a new clay body to me , showed an artist’s work with it, and shared knowledge on bisque firing to cone 04 to reduce the chances of these defects (I was firing to 06). Very appreciative of their help!

Cindy and team have always been willing to help and go out of their way to make sure I’m getting what I need. They are almost always well stocked with what I’ve needed even during all these crazy supply issues. If something is out of stock, I’ve always found they are very communicative about when it will come in, or give you suggestions for substitutes if you need it faster. I always look forward to making the trip to Lawrence to pick up supplies and feel lucky to have such a great resource and supplier within driving distance.

The absolute best place to buy clay and equipment for potters and sculptors in the Midwest. I love my semi-annual trips to Brackers to stock up. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.

Brackers is the place to go for your wheel thrown ceramics needs. They have a good selection of tools and bats - often at a better price than you can find online. The people are friendly and knowledgeable and will help you with any questions you have.Highly recommend Brackers for all of your ceramics needs!They used to have the best price for a lot of their products, in addition to being a local shop.

Wonderful people. Staff is so helpful. They do carry a vast array of products. I most enjoy the quality of the products they sell. You can tell they choose their stock carefully to provide customers excellent quality at reasonable prices

Seriously love this place! The staff are extremely helpful, thoughtful, and personable. The selection is on point. Definitely worth the drive from KC. If you are a new potter schedule an appointment and get out there.

Great place to deliver a load. There’s room for 1 maybe 2 trucks to sit overnight. Fast unload and I was on my way. I’d deliver to this location again
