I had them do some work on my cars’ worn older front end and an alinement. Then one of the new parts unforeseeably turned out to be defective causing noise and rattles, so I called them, took it in & they fixed the problem with a new part with no charge for parts, labor nor excuses about me doing something to cause the problem, etc…..excuses that one could easily expect to get at almost any big brand name national chain auto repair shop….how refreshing & honest is doing business with ACE…..a first class shop with first class people for owners who stand behind their work! My friends had told me about ACE Stearing & Break and I now tell others.

Ace Steering & Brake Service is the best! I had a power steering return line that seemed to be leaking. A different place in town wanted to replace the entire power steering return line assembly for $500. A second person in town also wanted to replace the power steering fluid reservoir. Ace Steering & Brake Service said nothing was wrong with the return line or reservoir, and that I just needed new clips to keep the line secured to the power steering fluid reservoir. Ace Steering & Brake Service charged me a very reasonable amount for the labor and clips, and the power steering fluid has stayed full for months with no visible leaks. I also took my car in to Ace Steering & Brake Service to get a second opinion on an axel and wheel bearing, and they said it was nothing that needed to be done immediately, just to keep an eye on it. I cannot recommend these guys enough!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Had the rotors and brake pads replaced on my wife’s car. Ace did great work and was easy to work with and highly accommodating. I would 100% recommend anyone to use them. I will be using them for any and all brake and steering work in the futureService: Brakes

Extremely friendly and professional. We brought our car to another shop first and got a 3K estimate. Brought it to Ace and they fixed what was actually wrong and bill was under 200. Excellent. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. The gentleman who worked on my truck had a bit of trouble getting into position because of bad knee but he kept at it until he finished the job. I would go to them for my vehicle any time.

Great service and quick turn around. Can align lowered cars. Ground-flush lift. They work way more on trucks but it's the only shop around that will align my lowered cars. Really knowledgeable.

Needed to update the shocks on my truck and add a leaf to the rear suspension. Called ALL OVER TOWN for information or just trying to find someone to help. Ace was the only place in Lawrence was of any kind of help and boy howdy were they helpful. They were very straightforward with the timing and pricing and we're very professional. Highly recommend these guys. It's a bunch of guys who are passionate about automobiles and not looking to screw the people. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We had an issue with our car that came up right before we were heading out of town. Every mechanic in town was booked up, including Ace. They still said they could take a quick peak and found the simple issue. They repaired it in 10 minutes and wouldn’t take any money for it!! Who does that! Great people, doing great work. We will most certainly use Ace again!
