We visited Karg Art Glass last May when we were celebrating our 29th anniversary. My wife and I and a couple of friends all had a great time. I think we may start going back periodically to make more ornaments for the tree. We just put them up for the first time and I had to say something. They look great and remind me of the good time we had together.

Our daughters gave us a gift certificate so that we got to "blow" our own Christmas ornaments. We were very pleased with the activity and the results.

Simply the finest gallery of blown glass in Kansas, just northeast of Wichita, in Kechi at Oliver and 61st Street North. This collection is mind blowing with all of the stunning glass from Rollin Karg and his staff, and many other artists. There’s so much more to purchase and admire as well including metal sculptures, jewelry, and ceramics. There are times you can visit and witness the amazing staff at work on a blown glass project and there are workshops offered to the public as well. I offer the highest recommendation to all Kansas residents and visitors to check out Karg Art Glass.

This place was found by random adventure Time when I took a wrong turn. But I'm happy it happened. It had a lot of different artists with different styles of glasswork as well as a few other things such as wood and metal. If my wallet was larger I would definitely buy out a lot of the items in there. Not to say the things are expensive, but if you are a collector of glass art, you will probably need to make sure you budget for the trip ? My wife and I will return as soon as we have the availability, but we are definitely happy we found it.

Very beautiful things here! Nice attendant to answer questions. They teach glass blowing classes for kids ages 5 and up. Summer program for kids. Date night for adults. Birthday parties or special occasions too! Lots for sale. Huge range of prices. Lots of glass ornaments, vases, bowls, earrings, jewelry... Not everything they offer is glass, either. They have welded artwork and wood things, too. Jewelry boxes, wooden cars, puzzle boxes... It's all amazing and full of imagination and wonder!

I don't know about you but, I LOVE glass art since I could remember. I have always wanted to take a class, watch how it's done from the pros; and give it a shotTomorrow I get to do just that. The only thing that makes it better is I get to share this cool experience with my son. .......__________________________________________ I will be back, had a blast and even bought some glass artwork made by our glass blower: Ronney Lott.on top of our ornaments we got to blow in the shop. made by our glass blower: Ronney Lot

Absolutely beautiful art glass!! From bowls, to paperweights, to vases, to kaleidoscopes. So many colors. Look up. Look down. Turn around slowly. There is a piece that will catch your attention on every surface. We were there for at least an hour because there is so much to see. The employees were very friendly and stopped to ask us if we needed help or had any questions. Each artist has his or her name displayed with the pieces they created. If you're afraid to pick up the piece to see the price, an employee is close by to offer you help. What's nice is that they didn't hover, just made themselves available where help was needed.Couldn't resist taking home a beautiful piece of glass to display in our home.
