Good evening....
Very disappointed, with the grocery delivery service, from the Gladstone Walmart store....
If Walmart wishes to represent any challenge, to the efficiency of Amazon, Costco, or Sam's Club, (in the grocery delivery game), the company's executives might reconsider including the Gladstone Walmart....
Contacted the Gladstone store, immediately, upon notification....
1.) Multiple substitutes, which I declined...
2.) Informed, that the time-window was closed---while I was on the phone, with them...
3.) My refund would require multiple calls...
4.) My monies would not be processed, for a week, to ten days.... Refund, would be later....
My time is very valuable, to me.... I order my groceries, in.....And, send my laundry, out----for a reason....
No time to deal, with a poorly stocked Walmart, without streamlined communication, unsatisfactory financial recompense, and inefficient shopping services....
If this grocery shopping experience, is indicative of the local (Gladstone) Walmart's upper management's efforts, to present a professional business, the corporate offices should be notified...
There are many better experiences, from other venues....
At least, the poor driver got a 20% tip; can you imagine the flak, Gladstone Walmart drivers must receive, delivering fragmented orders.... Certainly, not their fault....

Service is slow! Only come here if you have absolutely have nothing to do! All the workers walk around! The Money Center you may as well bring a lawn chair!

I understand issues during remodeling phase & I try to be patient but the new floor plan is ridiculous. The check out area is too tight & too crowded. They now have you herded, like livestock, through a narrow entry lane into the checkout area. You cannot have more than 2 carts by any check out lane or you will block the entire aisle. This means people trying to get to a different checkout lane cannot get through. The conveyor belts at the registers have been shorted (God help us when Covid/RSV & the flu comes back because you are on top of each other now). If you push your cart forward to get your bagged groceries, etc. then your cart blocks the aisle for persons that have checked out & are trying to leave. Plus the Walmart staff that are filling online orders are also trying to use this same space. Whoever thought up the design for the checkout area should be fired. I also doubt that this area would meet any ADA standards. The old layout was so much better. You used to be able to find things easily, now I have to double the time need to complete my shopping.

Called literally every department the robot offered and not one person picked up the phone. I needed the automotive department. I called every department, even the Damn bakery. Nobody bothered to pick up.

I put on a online order in the morning Never delivered. Due at 12pm. Attempted delivery it said. Gave me an option to change it to pick up. Which I did. For 5pm. Couldn't pick up said order delayed. Spoke to someone at the store to see what was going on. I was told I could pick up at 7:30pm and they would call me when ready. No one calls. I call store again. Said my order was in back still in blue totes so driver must have dropped the order. My order never left store. I finally picked up my order I had been waiting on all day only to find my frozen items were not frozen.! Fish almost thawed all the way mushy popsicles, pizzas aren't frozen. You get the.picture. All day long every time I called I got a different answer. To top it off the dispensers could care less. They were too busy on FaceTime!! Never again!!

Place was alot better before they tried to get all corralish with the check out lanes.
Now it's the most space wasted business around. And the lil mutants pushing the blue carts around filling orders are about the most self absorbed individuals you'll meet in your day. No respect for anyone.

I use to like this store but now they have totally destroyed this store. Trying to get in parking lot they have this giant corral around a shopping cart return blocking everything making it very dangerous for drivers and walkers. There is only to entrances to all of the check outs. They have just made it the most inconvenient place ever. If you can go somewhere else I recommend you do so.

Sad that I bought something online that was cheaper online and couldn't exchange them for different sizes. Without paying more at the store. So order again to have it delivered again for the right size.

Employee are rude, my family call the store for simple questions and no one answer the phone for hours. We try to get hold of the operator for 4 hrs and no one pick up the phone. We try electronic and they took longer and when they finally answer they hung up on me! Shame on this store!
