I took my wife in to get a Mothers Day gift, and the service was hands down EXCELLENT! The place was clean, they were friendly and welcoming, and treated us just like family! For Mothers Day, he even had discounts on all jewelry! It was an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be going back!

Fantastic, reasonably priced service at a local shop. Took two necklaces here to get repaired a few weeks ago. Either met the owner or a long-time employee who was superbly personable and made me feel welcome instantly. One necklace was 18K and very delicate, and they determined they would need to send it off to be resoldered to repair it. I was quoted a reasonable price given the repair requirements and it took only 1-2 weeks to get a call letting me know I could pick it up. They did great with the repair -- I can't tell at all where they had to resolder it. The other necklace I brought in to them was a cheap chunky chain necklace that needed one of its chains rehooked and the owner/employee kindly repaired this for me free of charge while I was there. If you need any kind of jewelry repair, whether it's a valuable piece or not, I'd highly recommend!

The owner is a kind individual willing to talk numbers. After a thorough search I found Sol’s Jewelry and Pawn to be the highest bidder for used jewelry and scrap gold in the Kansas City area. It has been my experience most pawn shops will use trickery to disguise their low ball offers. Don’t waste your time at other pawn shops

I went in to get some info on a few pieces I had inherited as I was curious about their origin. I was greeted by Mike himself and he couldn't have been more helpful while carrying such a pleasant attitude and zest for what he does everyday. I walked away with my mother's wedding ring cleaned on the house. It was shining like it did over 20 years ago. I couldn't stop looking at it after I left! He knows his stuff and will take the time to help you. You're crazy if you pass on this little gem of a shop! I was incredibly impressed. Highly recommended!

I do apologize since that time ive tried to take a brighter look a certain things in life. I now can honestly say that maybe i caught the gents at the counter at a bad time or something. My motto now is when you cross a psth of another person i am not so judgemental because you would be so surprised to find out where someone has been in the last half hour or what they were doing or dealing with. “One stop shop!” The store is clean, and organized. Everything is on display, and easy to view. Affordable pricing, and to die for deals. Mike, and NeeNee we’re both very pleasant and patient.
