Earlier this afternoon, march 9th, 2024. The service was tremendously slow. For being the only customers and at least 4 employees, it should take minutes to be acknowledged at the drive through speaker, and to then having to repeat a simple order multiple times, to being given an item that was not remotely ordered. I assume the staff was high given the stench of weed.But the real kicker, they slamming the window in my wifes face when we cancelled the order that took 10 minutes, long periods of silence, and screw ups on their part.

Absolute worst experience around 2pm today. Pulled up, no one in line, took forever after recording for anyone to take our order which had to be repeated multiple times (3 smoothies exactly the same). Pulled around to window, no one came to window legitimately for 10+ minutes. Counted 4 employees inside. Man that appeared to be a teenager came to window, said my order and stared at me. I confirmed, he didn’t take my card or anything and he shut the window and he walked away. Then comes back, hands me something that isn’t mine and then tells me he can’t take my card at this register. He walks off with it, then comes back and starts to say his register has to be ran a different way. At this point 20+ minutes has passed and I told him I would like to cancel my order, to which he slammed the window in my face. There was absolutely no reason for this. We frequent both Independence locations that are fabulous and will not go this location again

Came in today around 525pm and there was a young man there running the drive-thru, register and making the orders all by himself. He also had really great customer service!

This smoothie king location doesn’t adhere to the operating hours posted. Went on 1/7/24 at 7:02. Google says they close at 7:30PM. All the lights are on and there is an employee in there. They refuse to answer the speaker box, when I circled around they hid from me out of side from the window. Why work if you don’t actually want to do what you’re paid to do.

Went through the drive thru on Sunday November 12th around 7:10/7:15pm (20 mins before they close) and no one came to take my order. Sat there for 10 minutes and left. Not great service.

The new manager Israel makes sure your order is perfect!!! Sophie and Natalie are the very best at blending a perfect banana boat add peanut butter, no sugar,... server evvvvvver.. It's thick and icy just perfect!!!! Can't live without this place!!! Hands down the best!

I don’t know what’s happened to this location, but quality has gone down, politeness is the young people working has gone down. Orders of just one drinking taking too long and thank goodness I don’t have a peanut allergy because someone put peanuts in my strawberry smoothie!

Employees didn't know the menu. They were just standing around not preping looking at a cell phone, with a full drive thru line. When I got to the window she said what did you order again? I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes (because I had to get back to work) It took 20 minutes and the cup was 3/4 of the way full. Asked for coupon or money back and she could find coupons or give me my money back. I spent 30 minutes in the line waiting on my 20 ounce smoothie and didn't even get what I asked for. Never again will I frequent this Smoothie King!!! I have two kids that work at Smoothie King locations, I have never been treated so rudely, by lazy workers.

The fat girl working was completely rude, then the drink was terrible and tasted like crushed up prescription medication. I asked for money back, told to come back in two days when there is a manager! I'm not from around here!

You got to stay on top of the girls in this store. They always forget to take off my third add in price. And they always forget to scan my rewards or even ask if I have rewards. They never give me my discount on my third add-in and it's getting irritating almost every single time I come here it's like this.

Thirty minutes from the time I entered the drive thru line, until it was my turn to order. I sat for another five minutes before my order was taken. There were two cars ahead of me. I sat there and waited about five more minutes for the line to move. it never did, so I left and went to Caribou Coffee at the Hyvee gas station. In and out in less than five minutes.One bad thing about this place is that the drive thru line traps you, so you can't just drive off if they take forever. the one exception being right there at the speaker, which is how I was able to escape smoothie purgatory today.Garbage excuse for a smoothie shop.
