“I went in to get some info on a few pieces I had inherited as I was curious about their origin. I was greeted by Mike himself and he couldn't have been more helpful while carrying such a pleasant attitude and zest for what he does everyday. I walked away with my mother's wedding ring cleaned on the house. It was shining like it did over 20 years ago. I couldn't stop looking at it after I left! He knows his stuff and will take the time to help you. You're crazy if you pass on this little gem of a shop! I was incredibly impressed. Highly recommended!”

“Mr Boyd and his staff maintain a level of professionalism equal to shopping at Nordstrom or sitting with your loan officer via Bank of America. Whether you are purchasing or selling this organization puts to rest the stigma that is often associated with Pawn Stores. Pricing is measured by value not the individual.”

“The staff here are wonderfully helpful & accommodating. My Fiance' & I had to pawn his Fender Mustang Guitar when we were were having some financial issues. Neither of us were happy about it & after going to 2 different pawn shops we started to get discouraged that we wouldn't be able to get all of the money that we needed. We decided to give it one last shot so we went to Metro Pawn; not only were the owner & staff knowledgeable about the guitar (the other 2 were not, one placed offered only $80 on a Fender Mustang less than a year old) but we were able to get the money we needed. Honesty that is enough to give them 5 stars but what came after this makes me wish I could give them 10 stars. We ended up having to wait until a week before we would have forfeited the guitar when our cat became very ill. We ended up spending over $500 on Emergency Vet bills and then 2 days later we realized that we now didn't have the money to save the guitar, payday was a week after the deadline. I called Metro Pawn and asked if there was anyway we could extend the deadline about 6 days & started to explain what happened, the guy that answered the phone was incredibly nice & said there was no problem. We are now able to get the guitar back & our fur baby is on the mend.If you are in a position where you are going to need to pawn something I would absolutely 100% recommend Metro Pawn.”
