It's definitely better than Grand County in Branson but still no comparison to Kalahari in Texas..The rooms were okay; nothing spectacular two queens and a pull out sofa. The sofa my kid couldn't even sleep on because it was angled and uncomfortable. The sheets are very rough and the beds were okay I guess; I'm just use to my memory foam bed at home. The water park was a bit smaller than what I expected. The pictures make it look big, but it really isn't. I think this park is great if you got kids 12 and under, but teens might get bored quickly..It was also a big annoying to have children coming in and out of the "adults only" hot tub!! Parents were letting their kids go in as well as kids just walking in. The place is definitely under staffed. Also the restaurant in the water park was expensive and gross. Over $30 for a kids 6 piece nugget and hand full of fries, and a nachos the wife and I shared!!!We also had dinner upstairs at their restaurant which will be another review but I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! We didn't check out the arcade or the shows, and I'm glad we didn't do the "treasure quest" because wands were overpriced and everyone doing it looked annoyed. Because it seemed the quest was literally just running back and forth in the same area... We was gonna stay 3 days, but after less than one week were ready to leave. I'm sure this is a nice option for people who live in the area and have a season pass for just something else to do, but definitely not worth the 3 hour drive one way for me.. Why can't there be something like this in Springfield?!!!! 3 stars for just something different to do 2 stars for everything else.

Absolutely mortified by the Better Business Bureau's reviews and regret booking accommodations with this establishment! We had to reschedule our reservation and they were nothing but unreasonable, refusing to try to help us find a better option, cost for one night for a suite is over $900 after rescheduling, told it was non refundable! We could have booked an AirBnB for the weekend for the same amount! Beware it's nothing but complaints and price gouging! We seriously have health concerns from the reviews and definitely have been overcharged for rescheduling. Told we can not cancel our reservation because the original reservation was on a promo code, customer service refused to look up a different one and after rescheduling have been charged $300 more! Stay away, read reviews and don't get trapped! Customer service was awful! We do not even want to go after how rude customer service was and it's such a scam with a bunch of additional fees!

Room was hot with AC turned to 65. Charged purchases to my card before authorized to do so. This caused my card to not have enough to pay for charges upon leaving. Was told to call back when charges dropped to pay for balance. Within 6 hours of leaving, they hit my card again and continued to do so before I called to take care of balance. 5 times. They did not tell me upon charging these to my room that they would be doing this or I would have just paid right then and there. I don't want other families to have to go through this. Upon calling them for 2 days in a row, they didn't care that this had happened. So, beware that when you charge things to your room, that they will be putting a hold on your card and you cannot use it to pay your remaining balance.

I have been going here with my family for years. The only downside is the price but we see it as a splurge so we usually come just for one night once a year. We always arrive a few hours early and our room is usually ready. The water park is awesome, something for everyone. They have improved the food service over the years, they have vegan options and mocktails which are really great. We did the magiquest one year it is really time consuming so we would not do it again. The rooms are really cute, sometimes we get a regular room but a few times we have reserved a kid cabin which has a separate bunk bed. This place is really a top notch indoor water park. It is very clean and safe. I have never been in the summer but they have some outdoor stuff as well. Eta: kids beds are terrible, my kids always complain about how uncomfortable they are. Cute themed rooms but bed comfort leaves a lot to be desired

This is a pretty fun place to go for water slides and other entertainment. My daughter loves going here, we usually go in the cold months when the Outdoor swimming pools are all closed. Like any sort of entertainment place, it can be really crowded and overwhelming if you don't want 20 other peoples children within your personal space, lol. But all in all its a great place to take a day or 2 staycation. The prices can be a bit steep as well, but once again, anytime you are paying for your kids to be entertained, they know you will spend it.

The hotel room spelled like barn animals and there was even a couple flys in the room. I liked the size of the room. Definetly needs some updates especially with the TV's. I couldnt believe a hotel this kid friendly didnt have disney plus or netflix. You need smart TV's! There was a fairy with green hair, she was amazing! My daughter would look for her every time we walked into the lobby. The water park was also pretty amazing. My daughter spent hours playing there and didnt want to leave even as they were closing. Heres a short video of the water park.facebook.com/reel/101093…

This was our first time at any Great Wolf Lodge. I brought my 7 year old daughter for a small vaca before she starts school. I can't rate this place high enough. Everything was super simple, from booking to checking out. Booking online was so easy. I booked through the website and then later downloading the app, but would've done it the other way. We did the wolf pass and the food voucher into the reservation as well. Only a deposit was required at the time. Which was great. We just did a standard room, as it was just the 2 of us and would be out exploring most the time. Getting to the lodge for check in was easy as can be. It was nice that the wristbands you wear throughout your stay is the key to your room, so won't ever lose it. The room was nice and very clean. Also, upon checking in, you receive a text from WILLOW, which is a convenient texting assistant during your stay. There was so much to do!! First night we went ahead and did the build a bear (wolf) and started the MagiQuest (which was a fave of my daughters). Also checked out the arcade for a bit. My daughter and I got a cup of candy at the candy store. The indoor and outdoor water parks were really awesome. Water was a good temp so was never cold. Outdoor was more of a pool area as opposed to a park. But was a hot, beautiful day out, so the one day we stayed outside. We did the mining of stones (in the souvenir shop), got ice cream, had pizza, and everything else we can do. The pizza is really good by the way. Also did a round of mini golf in the evening after it cooled off, as there was no shade. The pack members (employees) were really amazing. Every single one we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. The never acted put out when we'd have even the most smallest of questions. Check out was a breeze. Didn't even have to wait at the desk. You just texted WILLOW when you were out of your room and ready to check out and could just leave. Highly recommend and we're already ready to go back!

We were invited to visit this lodge with friends, and I'm so glad we went. I was concerned that our almost 16 year old would be too old for this, but we as a family had a blast. The pools and slides were the biggest thing for my two boys, and it was nice. They had active lifeguards walking around which was surprising but happy to see. Yes, of course the drinks are pricey as well as the food, but I was expecting that being a resort per se. We went to the lodge restaurant the first night for dinner, and it was OK but not worth the money in my opinion. We spent over $150 on the four of us to eat there and it was lacking. They had a couple of meat options and a few veggies/sides options. The salad bar consisted of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and two dressings. They offered a couple of types of pizzas, and a pasta bar. I will say the pasta bar is probably the best thing in the buffet. Our room was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, which was very handy. The resort was clean throughout, and they had a few other amenities that are fun: mini golf and a small arcade.

My family and I vacationed here with friends for a few days. This was our first time staying in a resort like this. The room was nice and clean. The amenities were surprisingly nicer than I expected honestly. We enjoyed their arcade, miniature golf, and of course the indoor pool area. Of course the food/drinks were overpriced but was expected. We dined in the first night with their buffet. I think it was overpriced for what all the offered to eat but somewhat good. The indoor water area was very humid but constant activity for everyone. Plus, but having to use sunscreen is always great. Overall great first experience for my family!

We just stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The water park is small but we didn't get bored. Lines were short, we went Tuesday to Thursday and they said they were completely booked but you couldn't tell fromThe lines. They went quickly and sometimes had no wait at all. I found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The employees at the top of the slides never smile and just point and yell for where you are to go. One stairway is for two slides but it's not marked well so we didn't realize there were two lines and none of the employees told us either. Friendly people in line informed us. One person told me they used to have colored paw prints on the ground. That should definitely be brought back. We at at buckets and that was not bad. No one told us how to use the soda machine and there's no ice. When I asked for ice I got a surprise response and a few Ice cubes, when I asked to fill the cup with ice she did it. The soda machine was out of three flavors but only one was marked so you waste your time to fill just trying to get a soda that works. The little market in the lodge had very few options. The picture on the app shows and sandwich, but they never had sandwiches. The doughnut place had good breakfast sandwiches though. Room was large and clean, beds were comfortable, shower was hot but the curtain doesn't stay closed. We had to get creative to keep the water from spraying out of the shower. We didn't do any extras and still had a great time. We had a room that has a door to the next room. Unfortunately we could hear their kids screaming at night. Not really the lodges fault but I would probably ask for a room without a conjoining door next time. It just didn't keep the sound out well at all. I'd definitely like to go to some of the other locations. I don't think I'd go out of my way to go here again, but only because I've already done it, not because it wasn't fun.

My kids had a blast! It basically has everything you’d want in an arcade! So glad we did this! They have air hockey, skeeball (spelling?), vr, basketball, all the fun things!

The mix of digital and physical tickets was CONFUSING. The ticket readers broke often and my friend lost like 30 tickets. The paw points were also hella expensive but I don’t know what I was really expecting.

My kids had a great time at the arcade inside Great Wolf Lodge. Lots of fun arcade style games to play. Skee-ball, basketball, wheel spinning (in various ways), stop the spinner, and of course a push arm game. There were only a few actual ‘video game’ type games. Like cruisin’ USA and Jurassic Park - Save the dinosaurs.A couple of the prizes we got were broken, but we had a smooth time returning them in exchange for something else. As always, arcade prizes aren’t typically set to any standard unless you are in the higher ticket range.
