I live in Texas and ordered a pair of Anderson Bean Ostrich boots online from Nigro's. I had some questions about them and everyone I talked to on the phone was very pleasant. I also had a custom request where I needed the boot straps dyed a different color. Most stores would have told me "no way," but David Nigro, Jr. was happy to dye them for me before shipping out. I got them today and they are beautiful boots, exactly as expected. I will definitely be back to buy more boots in the future!

everything about service is abs horrible very rude owners and staff!!!..... went to return some pant I tried on and they said I could exchange after they did not fit no store credit then proceeded to tell illegal to take them back!!!!... will never be going there again anyone in need of 36 -34 wranglers over priced at 70 after 20% discount but I'll sell them for 40 but no exchanges!!

I grew up in KC and have never visited Nigro's until today. I just bought a pair of Anderson Bean Ostrich boots. From looking at their website, to calling on the phone, to going in to try them on and buy them, was a very pleasant buying experience. I never felt pressured and I received all the help I needed when trying on multiple sizes to ensure the right fit. I never caught his name but I think David Jr, helped me and explained how these boots should fit.I'll definitely be back, soley based on the buying experience. Thank you Nigro family!

Best shopping experience in my life at Nigros 2 a few years back. Totally different at the other Nigros on Mirriam. Needed a dozen pairs of jeans and probably a few shirts and maybe some new boots. Overly helpful staff stalking me and when I set something down while thinking about it she refolded and buried back in the stack, wouldn’t let me carry the other jeans while I was deciding and put them up on the counter. She probably thought she was being helpful but I don’t shop that way. They could learn a lot from the owners at the other store. May take back the 3 pairs I did buy so I can shop in peace elsewhere. LESS IS MORE!

David Jr trimmed and steamed a hat for me a few months back. It wasn’t a hat I purchased through them and he was willing to take his time and get it how I wanted! Many thanks David. It’s a tip based service so tip ‘em’ well. Especially if you didn’t get the hat with them. Have a solid 2024 Nigros #1 team.I went to the other location first and wasn’t as welcome so I left and headed to KCK. Thanks David!!!

What can I say about this place and all of their employees!!!! I love this place. They make you feel like family. I love their boot selection. I have wide calves, but that does not stop me from getting the boots I want. LD is the boot stretching king! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had a great experience there…until I had to return something. I had bought 2 pair of jeans, and paid for part of my purchase on a gift card. Well, I had to return 1 pair. I asked for the refund to be put back on my bank card, since my difference owed back was still more than my gift card I used. It went back on the gift card instead! I said that I wanted it back on my bank card and told the lady operating the register as such. The owner was like, “Don’t get smart with her!” The guy yelled at me! I merely asked for my money back, and didn’t act confrontational in any way. Eventually, they gave me some of the money back in cash, and some back on my card. Then they claimed they were losing money since they gave me over $70 back on a $65 item….I guess they forgot I get refunded sales tax back on an item I paid for. A simple refund transaction lost you a customer forever. Try treating people better.
