I have been coming to this Lowe's once/twice a week for a few years. All of the floor staff is very helpful and nice. I prefer this location to the other one by Costco. However, the last two times I have come in have been less than enjoyable. There has been the same older African American woman working self checkout and she is very rude. I come in to exchange 5 gallon water bottles all the time. I know exactly where the barcode is to scan them myself, thanks to the previous self checkout clerk who was very nice. Last week, the lady at self checkout was saying she didn't see me scan anything so when I went to show her my receipt and explain to her that I had just walked right next to her while she was talking to another customer, she put her hand in my face and said ma'am I am not talking to you, I'm talking to your spouse. So I grabbed my empty water bottles and walked to the area to exchange them. As I am doing that, she is asking my husband why I am mad, and asking him how I scanned the water. Mind you, my husband has no idea how to do it and he did not pay for it, that's why I was going to explain it to her but she was obviously just looking for a fight. She continued to make comments to me and my husband and then started calling my husband my brother. I told her she was being very disrespectful and she continued to argue with me all the way out the door!! I can't believe this person is working self checkout and behaving that way. I came in again today for water, and yet again she was working self checkout. There were only two registers open so I am trying to walk to an open one and keeps standing in front of my cart, like she doesn't want me to checkout. I move and then reach for the wand, and like usual I do everything myself. She gave me the nastiest look and was saying something to another associate about me. She watched me the entire time all the way out the door. It's frustrating to have an ongoing experience like this because I really love this store. It's always so clean and again the floor staff is wonderful. They always have a great selection of plants and keep things well stocked. I think it might be time to start making the drive to the other location just to avoid being harassed by the self checkout lady. If you do go to this location and want a pleasant experience, just go to a regular register or even the garden area.

I came in asking for moving boxes, you know, thinking that they just unloaded a truck and was going to give me the boxes that their product came in.. Boy, I was wrong! They apparently have an isle totally dedicated to moving. Go figure. Huh. Talk about being totally confused ? because this is not what we did growing up! We stalked the Dollar General, waiting for the delivery truck to come. Then bum rushed them. The employee's barely had any time to get the merchandise out of the boxes. "Sorry, guys! The sheriff will be over any minute to escort us off the property. Gotta go! Thanks!".

I had the opportunity today to reach out to numerous companies in order to resolve my very simplistic question in regards to a product. The majority of stores I reached out to seemed to miss the basic fundamentals of a successful business. I am grateful that Lowe's cares enough about customer service the ultimate core of a successful company! Keep up the good work Lowes!

Do not go to this Lowes. I've never had a worse experience at a home improvement store. The lady at the customer service desk was extremely rude, and it is not the first time we have had problems with her. I am a purchasing manager, and from now on will be spending my companies money at Home Depot or Menards.

Lowe’s is a great go to for home improvement. Lots of great products and good prices. And good help most of the time to help with questions.

Great home improvement store. Exactly where you need to go to make your DIY projects pretty. I go here for their exclusive distribution of the blue monster brand. It’s just a little too far from me for frequent trips.

Went in, took forever to get help. Then when I went in to get what they said they had online, the guy helping me just told me it's not in and sometimes just like that then walked away. Oh well I guess

Purchased refrigerator and washer but was never delivered. That was October of last year. Items were restocked but I am still paying for them.

I don’t care what anyone says. I love Lowe’s. They always have what I need. I’ve been a craftsman tool man my whole life picked it up from my dad. That’s great that they sell it now.

EDIT: All my mom wanted, was an apology and for them to file a claim so that this doesn't happen in the future with another customer. No one came to her, she had to walk to the front. They didn't give her an apology, told her it was her fault for wearing sandals, and refused to file a claim. Telling me to contact your national customer support number, to go through the motions of hearing an apology, is not enough to get us to be customer's again. The lack of empathy from any single worker/manager at that store is frustrating and me calling a number is generic. Do better. If you're on the fence of going to Lowe's over any other home improvement store, just go to the other one. At least you won't get injured there.--------------------------------------I am writing this for my mom, who doesn’t want to pursue any legal action unless she requires surgery. I am fuming because she is a first generation immigrant who has lived in America for decades, and the treatment she has received is NOT okay for any single person to have received. She is also on blood thinners and anytime she bleeds, it is SCARY and life threatening.Earlier today, she went to Lowe’s. She was near the floor trim aisle. There are TWO layers, so the photos I’m sending isn’t justice. She was not touching these floor trims, but even if she was, they should not be falling so easily on customers. She was shopping around, and the floor trim fell on her foot, and she screamed because it hurt so badly. A floor associate asked what was happening, my mom explained what happened and then asked to speak to a manager. The associate then left and for several minutes my mom waited for no one to come to her. She then asked another associate and they TOLD her to go to the front desk to speak to a manager when she is in pain. She then painfully went to the front desk and the manager REFUSED to write an accident report, and told her she shouldn’t wear sandals. No apology or anything. She is a customer…..there are no rules for customers that state you must wear closed toed shoes.I am frustrated because this is a corporate store and no claim is being filed. This is NOT okay and we will never be shopping here again. Please, go to Home Depot.

The Kansas City Lowes Delivery Service are dishonest, lairs, and deceitful. I was to have a dyer delivered today only to be left a message claiming they showed up at my house when they didn't. I called and was told that the time frame they gave me which was 5-9pm was a mistake, and they can't deliver past 8pm. I waited all day for them to show up. Now they tell me I have to wait another 7 days for my delivery because they lied about coming to my house. The worst customer service I've experienced in forty years. My recommendation is go to another place to buy something that doesn't use lying deceitful delivery services. I have reported them to the BBB of Greater Kansas City, and KCTV5. I've also filed a formal complaint with Corp. Lowes. I don't expect any results but if it helps hold them accountable it was worth a try.

Came in for a sickle and weed cutter so I could mow the lawn the good ol fashion way with a decent workout. Friendly associates at Lowe's spotted my confusion and took me to the correct aisle. 5mins flat I love Lowe's!
