701 Village West Pkwy, Kansas City“The room was great and we will definitely be back! My only complaint is that they offer a bar and a spa here at this location and the one day the bar was open the days we went there was not a bartender available so the bar was closed and then we tried to get massages and again they told us there was not a massage therapist available this is one of the reasons we chose this place so I was definitely bummed about that and hopefully next time it will be better. The rooms alone make it a great place to visit”

The fridge was a very good size. Breakfast was great. Add bacon to your weekend breakfast! The gentleman that helps with breakfast is GREAT, too. So friendly and helpful, and takes the time to talk to the guests and their kids!”
“Kathy who runs this place is an amazing person. She was very kind and compassionate and made you really feel at home. My wife was in for a surgery and this was such a great place to stay near the hospital. Thank you so much”

10401 Cabela Dr, Kansas City“I have been going here with my family for years. The only downside is the price but we see it as a splurge so we usually come just for one night once a year. We always arrive a few hours early and our room is usually ready. The water park is awesome, something for everyone. They have improved the food service over the years, they have vegan options and mocktails which are really great. We did the magiquest one year it is really time consuming so we would not do it again. The rooms are really cute, sometimes we get a regular room but a few times we have reserved a kid cabin which has a separate bunk bed. This place is really a top notch indoor water park. It is very clean and safe. I have never been in the summer but they have some outdoor stuff as well. Eta: kids beds are terrible, my kids always complain about how uncomfortable they are. Cute themed rooms but bed comfort leaves a lot to be desired”
“The new manager was super nice and helpful . Housekeeping was supposed to clean the room before we got in but they didn't so we cleaned it ourselves. Not bad for a cheap motel, rooms could use a fresh coat of paint, but not bad. Usually in cheap motels like this you would expect some kind of bugs, not a single one in sight though. Happy surprise there !! Haha just being honest !”

“I've been here several times.. The owners have always been pleasant..... price is always good! It's not the Marriott...but what do you expect.... I can say the pictures on do not accurately show the motel.. There is no pool... And it's very clean! Alot of the rooms have been updated.....”

501 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City“Easy check in and clean. The staff was really nice as well. The surrounding are seems kind of rundown so as a woman I wouldn’t be out there at night, but there is a restaurant near by for easy take out or post mates or Uber eats.”
“I almost did not book with Great Wolf after reading some of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I decided to go. If you mentally prepare yourself for the negatives (rundown look of carpets and walls, unkept landscaping, ridiculous parking charges, long check-in process, outdated Magiquest technology), it makes it easier to enjoy all the available fun. We chose to enjoy our meals off-site because their food was overpriced and reviews indicated it wasn't stellar. Bob Evans is right down the road for a square and reasonably priced breakfast. We tried a FABULOUS barbeque joint (Slap's BBQ) about 15 minutes away. As for Great Wolf, our room was clean. It smelled a little musty, but that's to be expected for a lodge that has guests bouncing back and forth to a water park. The water park itself was a ton of fun, and lifeguards were abundant and focused on keeping the environment safe. I really appreciated that! We visited in the middle of the week, so lines weren't bad and we could enjoy MANY trips on the water slides. Magiquest was still a lot of fun despite the old age of the technology. We just accepted that we couldn't finish the dragon adventures due to quirkiness of the game. Still, we had hours of entertainment reading clues and tracking down items!”
