Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady was mad she had to get up. Then told us if we don't have an account we have to buy off the website, but there is literally a sign 1 foot from her that says any non account purchases have a $25.00 minimum, I was willing to purchase way more then $25.00. But I am a business owner so I told her I would have no problem opening an account. After much reluctance she looked for what we needed, didn't have it in stock. Closest was Indiana, I asked if we could get it overnighted, she said yes but it would still take 2-3 days, which makes no sense. Way to much effort and lack of willingness to help, to ever go back there.

2 stars because they have stock usually. 1 star for poor customer service. They've never tried to help in more than 10 purchases, just pass the buck like I would know their part numbers. Probably because they are under qualified to do simple things like help customers. "Look it up on the website" is the Call of Fastenal here.

My business is about 5 miles away. I have bought in the pass different kinds of fasteners from Fastenal. Today I was informed that I have to an account with them. They dont sell to individuals. So they wasted my time and now I have to drive 20 minutes to get what I need.

Went in here because a specialist of Fastenal told me that any of the 22 locations across Kansas city metro would be happy to talk to me about paint. The two guys working here must have been baked out of their minds because they sat there and stared at us like we were stupid because we didn't have product numbers.When we asked them if they could look up the products we were talking about we stood in front of the counter for 10 min. In silence.Finally we broke the silence to see if they found the product. And the guy said he didn't look it up.If you want service don't go to this location.All other locations in the area did their jobs. And helped us. But the response of these employees looks bad for the company as a whole.

Had a 4am delivery appointment, checked in around 2am & re dived door #22 on the front side of the building. By the way you have to check in on the back side of building, they have nice restroom & break room inside. You scan the food items you want then pay it with cash/card. I wouldn't suggest the grilled ham & cheese sandwich. The crust is tougher then a indy 500 brick & very salty. To each they're own. I slept overnight no problems. Id come back .

I worked here for 7 months. Was great until a couple weeks ago. Manager Kevin needs some training on now to talk to people. Asked him a question about something he wanted me to do that was not my job and he threw a fit like a toddler. Now I'm being punished at work, doing jobs no one else is asked to do, like janitorial work. Kevin doesn't even understand how this department works, maybe he should have training on that as well!
