It’s really sad how they’ve let the stores go down. There is so much stuff in the store and so much inventory that needs to be put away. You just can’t find anything.

I've seen it closed several times with employees inside and they ignored us who were waiting patiently outside for them to let us in. I try to go there anymore,since I never know when they'll be open.

Alright store for the part of the city it's located there could be a better selection of well everything, the people that frequent this store are not real friendly, don't go here if your expecting a quick in and out other than that if your in that part of the city and need something from family dollar they may or may not have it

It was actually clean and smelled like bleach and shelves were stocked to my surprise. Most FD stores are the opposite, so it was a pleasant surprise!

On Sunday Oct 7 at approx 734pm on my way home from work iI stopped at Family Dollar 4601 E Truman Rd. KCMO. Upon arrival I saw 4 people standing outside the locked front door while an employee and what appeared to be her child were inside ignoring the customer s knocking on the front glass door. The hours clearly stated 9:00 pm closing. Eventually the employee yelled we are closed with no further details given still not looking the annoyed shoppers. The was not a closed sign of any type on the entry doors. This store needs help with PR skills as well as people who want to work

On 10-05-2022 I went into this store tp purchase cat treats for a friend who is disabled and waiting in the car after his doctor appointment. There was sign saying the item was marked down to $7.50. When I went to the register the employee was more than rude when I said something about them being posted at a different price on the shelf as she stated that I was mistaken and left the register and proceeded to go an get the sale sign and tear it in half in front of me while stating "I told you they are not on sale". I will never go into this store again and neither will the person I went there for. I would rather travel out of my way than to deal such hatefulness. I worked in the retail industry for over 10 years and customer service over 20 and to treat anyone like that is wrong but to treat a customer that way is ignorant. I honestly hope something changes or people begin to boycott this store!

Locked ..why? I waited to see why the store was closed at 2:46pm ..noticing they were only allowing a selective few to go in..this isn't a night club ..it's family dollar. Need new management mediately. Very disappointed
